But first I want to tell you something about Infinitive(动词不定式). In my talk just now the Infinitive is used as object (用作宾语). It can also be used as subject and predictive (用作主语和表语), as plement (用作补足语), as an adverb indicating Purpose/Result(表示目的和结果), as a modifying Adjective(修饰形容词), as a post modifier in a Noun Phrase (后位修饰名词). Now lets go to page 80 to learn more about the uses of Infinitive(动词不定式).Listening and vocabulary1 Look at the pictures. Betty is going to Lao Shes Teahouse. Say what she can see and do there.On page 80 you see two pictures of Lao Shes Teahouse. Betty goes there. Now tell the class what she can see and do there.Beijing Opera performance play teahouseBetty can see Beijing Opera there. Betty can see Beijing Opera performances there. While reading try to cut(断句)/ the sentences into parts, blacken(涂黑)the predicates, shade(加影)the connectives and underline(划线)the expressions.Can you tell about the uses of the Infinitive in the conversation?
