They arrived at a house, in front of which sat a small boy.7. 直接引语的全部或一部分置于名词充当的主语前时，用全部倒装；在直接引 语的后面或中间加入 he said 之类小句时，可以倒装；也可以不倒装；

No more, seldom, hardly, scarcely, rarely, nowhere, in no way, at no time, in no case, under no circumstances, no sooner .than, hardly.when, not until, scarcely when/before, not only .but also;但否定词对主语的否定不到装(Not everyone can do things perfectl

Only 修饰的状语， not until 引导的状语提到句首时要到装；句首的 only 引 导的短语或句子不是状语不到装 (Only few of the children havent yet got a chance of being educated.)Eg. May you be healthy and happy forever!May all of you succeed in the coming examinations!Long live the Peoples Republic of China.6. 在so/suchthat(结果状语从句)结构中，若so/such引导的部分置于句首时， 用倒装语序。Eg. So shallow is the lake that no fish can live in it.Such a good boy is he that we all love him.7. So/ neither/nor 置于句首， 表前者的情况也适用于后者， 其句型为： so/neither/nor+be/助动词/情态动词+主语。So与前面的肯定句呼应，neithei, nor与前面的否定句呼应。Eg. After that we never saw him again, nor did we hear from her.I saw the film last week, So did she.
