2019-2020年人教版高中英语必修2 Unit 2 the Olympic games period 3 教案1Teaching procedures:Warming upSusan, Shenzhen, sports, Olympic GamesTodays lesson will be given by Susan.The Olympic Games will be held next year in Beijing.Aim: This part is designed to encourage the students to make sentences with the hints given. Sample sentences are given to the students so that they get to know about the pattern of future passive voice. Making up sentencesFive pictures are shown. The students are guided to make up sentences with the clues, describing the pictures they have seen. In fact, its a process using future passive voice.Discovering structuresFive sentences are shown on the screen. 1. The 29th Olympic Games will be held in nine months.2. Medals will not be given to the losers.3. How soon will the Bird Nest be pleted?4. A swimming pool will be built in Zhaoqing No. 1 Middle School before long.5. A gymnasium will be built in our school in the near futureThe students are encouraged to find out the sentence patterns that they are going to learn. They will e to a conclusion as the following:structuretime s.+ will be doneSoon; in nine months, how soon, before long, in the near futureUsing structuresStudents are encouraged to practise more on future passive voice. They are asked to help the teacher with the rules for the Olympic Games.Rules for the Olympic Games Nobody _ (allow) to enter the stadium without a ticket. A group leader is sent out to get the sentence from the teacher. Then they should remember the sentence and tell it to the student sitting next to themselves. The last member of the group may e to the blackboard and write down what he/ she has heard. The first group to finish the task may get 5 points for it.Keys to the game:1. Meals will be served three times a day. Please check the exact time in the dining hall.2. Rooms will be cleaned in the late morning in the Olympic village.3. All petitors will be taken to their sports events at the correct time.4. Visitors will not be allowed to stay in the building after 9 pm. 5. Smoking will not be permitted at all in any of the stadiums.6.
