Revise The Passive Voice
Step 1 Lead in
1. Ask some questions and let the students answer them.
2. Let the Ss change the Active Voice into the Passive Voice.
Step 2 Let some students make a conclusion
1. Ask some students to talk about the structure of the Passive Voice
Structure: 助动词be + 过去分词
2. Ask: What kinds of The passive voice which we had learned?
一般现在时: am / is / are + p.p.
一般过去时: was / were + p.p.
一般将来时: will / shall / be going to + be + p.p
现在完成时: have /has been + p.p.
含情态动词: can / should / may / need / must + be + p.p.
3. Ask : How to change the Active Voice into the Passive Voice.
The Active voice The passive voice
object (宾语) subject (主语)
predicative (谓语) be + p.p. (be+动词的过去分词)
Subject (主语) by + object (by +宾语)
其他句子成分 不变
4. How to use The Passive Voice
两种情况下要用被动语态:
1. 当我们不知道谁是动作的执行者时,或者没有必要指出谁是动作的执行者时。
2. 当我们只需要强调动作的承受者时而不是执行者时。
His bike was stolen yesterday. (1)
Colour TV sets are sold in that shop. (1)
English is spoken in Canada. (2)
This kind of bicycle is made in Shanghai. (2)

books…put in the right place
books…keep clean
speaking…not allow…loudly
books…not draw on them
marks…not make on them
Notices:
1. 不能用于被动语态的动词:
cost, last, have, own, hold, feel, happen, agree with, belong
2.在主动语态中,不带to的动词不定式改为被动语态时要加to:
使役动词:let, make, have
感官动词:see, watch, hear, feel, smell, taste
3. 含双宾语的主动语态变为被动语态时,一般是把主动结构的间宾(人)为被动语态的主语.如以直宾作主语,应在间宾前加介词to或for.

4. 不要漏介词:
