6、lled an apostrophe(呼语).The rose here could be a metaphor for love or passion;our ideas about which are sick.n n Lines 5-6:The worm manages to worm his way into the roses bed,which suggests some kind of sexual act.n The“crimson joy of the rose connotes both sexual pleasure and shame,thus joining the

9、the allegorical(讽喻的)suggestion that it is love that does not recognize its own ailing(生病的)state.n This results partly from the insidious(潜在的)secrecy with which the“worm performs its work of corruptionnot only is it invisible,it enters the bed at night.This secrecy indeed constitutes part of the infection itself.Page 9n The love in this poem is dark and secret and is associated with a destructive or violent act of sexual intercourse,bordering on but not quite synonymous with rape.(Innocence is destroyed by experience)Page 10祝您成功！
