2、owever, he moved from Wenzhou together with our whole family to Shanghai where we drifted around with no fixed abode at the beginning, but finally we settled down and possessed a real home. My father was brave enough to venture that he went to Yunnan on business all by himself at the age of 18. He e

3、ven slept in the same place with a cow because of capital problem. However, due to the spirit of combat and the desire to advance, he achieved his own career-from a clerk on his sales everywhere to a chairman today.My mother was a teacher in a primary school before I was born, and I was impressed de

4、eply with her cautiousness and conscientiousness.The most important influence of my parents on me was that they taught me how to be a self-dependent person. When I was in kindergarten, I was adopted in other peoples home in order to learn to live on my own. I went to school and left school by public

5、 bus all the time since grade one in primary school. All these attitudes of independence origined from their parenting. They always tell me that: as a man, I must be self-dependent, I must create a world for myself. Besides, my sister is 10 years younger than me, I hope I can set her an example and

6、lead her towards a correct，meaningful life path.In order to be admitted by an American university, I work hard on all the subjects in school such as Chinese, math, chemistry, English and so on. Therefore，my performance of each subject is always in the top ones. My class is a major class for chemistr

7、y consisting of top students selected from 300 students in the same grade. I am diligent and have been the chemistry study; I often discuss difficult problems with my classmates and help to solve concrete questions，which are the reasons why I am favorably commented all the time. Above all, I am one

8、of the 30 students selected from 300 students in our grade to attend an exemplary open class in another school together with superior teachers.Besides the study of curricula, I read an original English edition of Principle of Economics written by N. Gregory Mankiw in order to make full preparations

9、for my future majors and to get a deeper understanding of this field.My science performance is excellent .I am interested in math and chemistry with meticulous scholarship and good at practicing. In 2007, as a delegate of our school, I took part in the Shanghai “White Cat Cup” Chemistry Competition,

10、“Hope Cup” Math Competition, and Technical English CompetitionExcept the performance of schoolwork, I had a gift for performing since I was young .When I was in primary school， I was a member of the waist drum dance in our school and had performed outside as a delegate many times. I am a Chinese per

11、formed by me on the graduation ceremony of primary school was praised highly. And then in the middle school, my talent for performing was thoroughly hit off. During the International Culture Week in our school, Orphelias Shadow Theater which I took part in won the second prize in the senior group, t

I have led the football team of our class to win the championship of Headmaster Cup Football Match. Besides; I got the third and fourth prize accordingly in the 100-meter race in which I took pa

13、rt twice.Through these extracurricular activities, I learned the powerful strength of collective. I was skilled in communicating with other people ，capable of coordinating and organizing and elected student in charge of sports activities in the selection campaign for class leaders.I worked seriously

14、 and responsibly, and often helped other students.On the other hand, when I was in grade two, high school, I organized about 30 students in my class to take a trip in Dalian, during which we came up against difficulties that the view spot was different from the predetermined, students held different

15、 viewpoints and so on. However, I made an effort to solve these problems with the help of my friends so that we had a perfect and satisfying journey before graduation.At the same time, I took an active part in social workers and philanthropy activities influenced by my parents. When I was in high sc

16、hool, I signed up for Hand-in-Hand Activity that I acted as a teacher in Shanghai Foreign Studies University Elementary School. During the English class, once in a while I made some grammatical or articulatory mistakes of which the younger students would remind me, which made me realize that I shoul

17、d make adequate preparation before taking part in everything and run scared with patience and circumspection. I was touched emotionally by those lovely children. If I have a chance to study for my undergraduate degree in America, I hope I can be enrolled by Economics major. My parents have trained m

18、y financial awareness since I was in primary school. When I grew up, I saved money, did personal financing and even recorded expenditures on my own, realizing that economy was around me all the time. I developed a deep interest in economics at the moment when I earned a little money in stock marketi
