Unit 3 My Birthday 第一课时一、教学目标:1能听、说、认读12个月份的名称January (Jan.), February (Feb.), March (Mar.), April (Apr.), May, June, July, August (Aug.),September (Sept.), October (Oct.), November (Nov.), December (Dec.),并能书写其缩略形式。 2能就12个月份进行四季划分。3会用句型When is your birthday?询问对方的生日,并能用My birthday is in .进行回答。 二、教学内容:1词汇:January (Jan.), February (Feb.), March (Mar.), April (Apr.), May, June, July, August (Aug.),September (Sept.), October (Oct.), November (Nov.), December (Dec.)。 2句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in.三、教学重难点:1重点是听、说、认读12个月份的单词January (Jan.), February (Feb.), March (Mar.), April (Apr.), May, June, July, August (Aug.), September (Sept.), October (Oct.), November (Nov.), December (Dec.),并能书写其单词形式。2难点是January, February的发音。四、教学准备:录音机、录音带、年历、课件等。五、教学过程:教学环节教师活动学生活动应用资源建议与说明Warm-up/ Review1师生问候,并与学生做简单的日常交流:What day is it today? Whats the weather like today? .1与教师进行日常对话:Its Monday /Tuesday . Its sunny /windy . 拉近与学生的距离,也为学生创 造了一个英语听说的环境。2播放歌曲“Whats Your Favourite Season?”。2跟唱歌曲,边唱边做动作。 音频:Whats Your Favourite Season? 活跃课堂气氛, 并为后面的学习做好准备。3T: Whats your favourite season?板书四季单词。3回答:My favourite season is . Presentation/ Practise1出示冬季的图片问: What season is it?T: Do you know which months are in winter?(板书month,并解释。)在画面上出示三张日历December, January, February,然后逐个教学,并板书其缩写形式Dec., Jan.和Feb.。 Group work: Whats your favourite month in winter? Why?1看图片回答:Its winter. 理解December, January, February,并跟读。学生讨论并反馈。图片:Winter 联系季节来教学月份,增强了教 学的知识性和生活性。2猜一猜Whats my favourite month?T: I like March best. Because my birthday is in March. (讲到birthday时再用简笔画画一个蛋糕。)2学生猜。 学习、理解birthday。 跟读March,并学习其缩略形式。让学生对12个月的英语表达有一个初步的接触与了解。通过简笔画使学生理解birthday的含义。然后结合季节, 通过游戏的方式自然地引出新词的教学,并通过 跟读等方式使学生掌握12个月份的英语表达。同时,在游戏和对 话的操练中初步掌握句型When is your birthday? My birthday is in . 3结合季节,引出在spring的另外两个月份April和May。3理解、跟读April和May,并学习Apr.和May。 4通过“Before and After”的游戏引出June, July和August并进行教学,总结这三个月份所在的季节是summer,引导学生关注字母u在单词中的不同发音。 4跟读单词June, July和August,并比较字母u在单词中的发音。 5出示一些节日图片,引入September和October的教学。September: 出示教师节的图片。T: Which month is it?October: 出示国庆节的图片。(问题同上)结合季节fall,引出November的教学。5认读、跟读September, October和November,并学习其缩略形式。 6 教学句型When is your birthday? My birthday is in . T: When is my birthday? Do you remember?T: Yes. My birthday is in March. When is your birthday? (板书此句型)6学习句型When is your birthday? My birthday is in .学生回答:Your birthday is in March.认读、跟读When is your birthday?句型,并回答:My birthday is in .7播放动画。 Game: When is your birthday?(转盘) 跟读新授单词。7观看动画。 借助活动转盘操练My birthday is in . 跟读,巩固记忆。 8与某一学生示范对话。A: Hello, Jack. When is your birthday?B: My birthday is in July. And you?A: In April.8听完示范后,小组操练。 9出示12个月份的单词图片。 9完成相应月份与季节的连线。 Consolidation1发给学生一个表格。1在组内进行调查,问问组员的生日都是在哪个月份的。 灵活运用所学语言。2提问总结:How many birthdays are there in May / ? 2根据小组的调查表进行回答。 3教师对学生在本节课中的表现进行整体评价,并指导学生填写自我评价表。3学生填写“回答老师提问”和“本课知识掌握情况”。 以鼓励和表扬为主,提高学生的 学习积极性。六、板书设计:Unit 3 My Birthday Lesson 1spring summer fall winter(四线格) Mar.
