31、as possible with ref- erence to the dimensional standards listed in Annex B (cf. table 6).5 Calculation of mass and tolerances on mass5.1 When calculating the nominal mass from the nominal dimensions, the values given in EN 10088-1 shall be used as a basis for the density of the steel concerned5.2 I

32、f the tolerances on mass are not specified in the di- mensional standard listed in Annex B. they may be agreed at the time of ordering.6 Designation and ordering6.1 Designation of steel gradesThe steel names and steel numbers (see tables 1 to 4) have been formed in accordance with EN 10027-1 and EN

33、10027-2 respectively.6.2 Designation to be used on orderingThe complete desig natio n for ordering a product in accord - ance with this European Standard shall contain the following information:一 the desired quantity;-the product form (e.g bars or rod);一 where an appropriate dimensional standard is

34、available (see Annex B), the number of the standard plus any choice of requirements; if there is no dimensional standard, the nominal dimensions and tolerances re quired;一 the type of material (steel);-the number of this European Standard;一 the steel name or steel number;-if for the releva nt steel

37、n this European Standard shall be at the manufacturer*s discre tion 8.2 Delivery conditionThe products shall be supplied in the condition agreed in the order, with referenee being made to the process route give n ir table 6 and, where alter natives exist, to the treatment conditions given in tables

38、7 to 11 and 17 (see Annex A).8.3 Chemical composition8.3.1 The requirements given in tables 1 to 4 apply with respect to the chemical composition in the cast analysis8.3.2 The product analysis may deviate from the limiting values for the cast analysis given in tables 1 to 4 by the values listed in t

39、able 5.8.4 Chemical corrosion propertiesWith regard to resista nee of ferritic, austenitic and austenitic-ferritic steels to intergranular corrosion as de fined in EURONORM 114, the specifications given in tables 7,10 and 11 apply.Note 1: EURONORM 114 is not applicable to the :esting of martensitic

40、and precipitation hardening steels.NOTE 2: The corrosion resista nee of stainless steels is highly dependant on the type of environ- ment and can thus not always be clearly established by laboratory tests. It is therefore advisable to draw on the available experience in the use of the steels.8.5 Mec

41、hanical properties8.5.1 The mechanical properties at ambient temperature as specified in tables 7 to 11 apply for the relevant heat treatment condition specified, except for process route 1U (hot rolled, not heat treated, not descaled).If by agreement at the time of ordering the products are to be s

42、upplied in a nonheattreated condition, the mechani cal properties specilied in tables 7 to 11 shall be obtainable from referenee test oieces which have received the appr priate heat treatment (simulated heat treatment).For cold worked products, the mechanical properties at ambient temperature as spe

43、cified in table 17 applyNOTE: Austenitic steels are insensitive to brittle fracture in the solution armealed condition. As they do not have a pronounced transition temperature, which is characteristic of other steels, they are also useful for application at cryogenic temperatures.8.5.2 The values gi

44、ven in tables 12 to 16 apply to the elevated temperature 0,2% and 1 % proof strength.8.6 Surface qualitySlight surface imperfecti ons in here nt in the production process are permittedIf more detailed requirements regarding the surface quality are to be satisfied, these shall be agreed at the time o

45、f ordering, taking EN 10221 as the basis where appropriate8.7 Internal soundnessFor the internal soundness, where appropriate, require- merits together with the conditions for their verification may be agreed at the time of ordering.9 Testing9.1 GeneralThe manufacturer shall carry out appropriate pr

46、ocess control, testing and inspection procedures to make sure that the products delivered comply with the requirements specified in the order.This in eludes the following:一 an adequate frequency of checking the dimensions of the products;-an adequate intensity of visual exami nation of the products

47、for their surface quality;一 an adequate frequency and type of test to make sure that the correct steel grade has been usedThe nature and frequency of these checks, examinations and tests is determined by the manufacturer, in the light of the degree of consistsncy that has been established by the evi

48、denee of the quality system. In view of this, complianee with these requirements need not be verified by specific tests unless otherwise agreed9.2 Agreement on tests and inspection documents9.2.1 At the time of ordering. the issue of one of the inspection documents specified In EN 10204 may be agree

49、d for each delivery.9.2.2 If it has been agreed to issue a type 2.2 document (test report) as in EN 10204, it shall provide th following informatio n:a) the information groups A, B and Z as specified in EURONORM 168;b) the results of the cast analysis in accordanee with code numbers C71 to C92 given

50、 in EURONORM 168.9.2.3 If the issue of a type 3.1 A 3.1.B or 3.1 .C inspection certificate or of an inspection report (type 3.2) has been agreed, specific testing and inspection in accordance with9.3 are to be carried out and the following information shall be given in the inspection document, with

51、the code bers and details required by EURONORM 16&a) as under 9.2.2, items a) and b)b) as under 922, items a) and b)c) the results of mandatory tests marked ,m, in table 18, second column;d) the results of any optional tests or inspections agreed when ordering.9.3 Specific testing and inspection9.3.

52、1 Scope of testingThe tests to be carried out, either mandatorily (m) or by agreement (o), and the composition and size of the test units, and the number of sample products, samples and test pieces to be taken are given in table 18.9.3.2 Selection and preparation of samples9.3.2.1 The soecifications

53、 of EURONORM 18 shall be complied with in sampling and sample preparation The specificati ons of 9.3.2.2 apply additi on ally for mechanical tests.93.22 The samples for the tensile test shall be taken in accordanee with figures 1 to 3. If it has been agreed that impact tests be carried out, the samp

54、les shall be taken from the same location.The samples shall be taken from products in their as delivered condition. If agreed, samples from bars may be taken before straightening. For samples to be given a simulated heat treatment the conditions for armealing, hardening and tempering shall be agreed

55、9323 Samples for the hardness test and for the resist- ance to intergranular corrosion test, where requested, shall be taken from the same locations as those for the mechanical tests.9.4 Test methods9.4.1 Unless otherwise agreed when ordering, the choice of a suitable physical or chemical method of

56、analysis to determine the product analysis is at the manufacturer*s discretion. In cases of dispute, the analysis shall be carried out by a laboratory approved by the two parties The method of analysis to be used shall be agreed, where possible with referenee to appropriate European Standards or EUR

57、ONORMs.9.4.2 Tensile testing at ambient temperature shall be carried out in accordance with EN 10002-1, this generally being with proportional test pieces having a gauge length, Lo, equal to 5,65乓(where SQ is the cross section of the test piece). In cases of doubt and in referee cases, such test pie

58、ces must be used The tensile strength and elongation after fracture shall be determined and for ferritic, martensitic. precipitation hard- ening and austenitiofeiritic steels, also the 0,2% proof strength and for austenitic steels the 0,2% and 1 % proof strength 9.4.3 If a tensile test at elevated t

59、emperature has been ordered, this shall be carried out in accordance with EN 10002-5. If the proof strength is to be tested, the 0,2% proof strength shall be determined for ferritic, martensitic, precipitation hardening and austeniticferritic steels In the case of austenitic steels, the 0,2% and the

60、 1 % proof strength shall be determined.9.4.4 If an impact test has been ordered, it shall be carried out in accordance with EN 10045-1 on V-notch test pieces. The average obtained from three test pieces is considered to be the test result (cf. EN 10021)9.4.5 The Brinell hardness test shall be carri

61、ed out in ac cordance with EN 10003-1.9.4.6 The resistance to intergranular corrosion shall be tested in accordance with EURONORM 114.9.4.7 Dimensions and dimensional tolerances of the product shall be tested in accordance with the require ments give n in any releva nt dimensi onal stan dards 9.5 RetestsSee EN 10021.10 Marking10.1 Marking shall be durable10.2 Unless otherwise agreed, the requirement
