1、山西旅游职业学院英语口语课程标准2014年 6 月英语口语课程标准一、课程基本信息课程名称: 英语口语 课程编码:02010302课程类别:理实一体课课程类型: B类(理论实践课)适用专业:旅游英语专业开设时间:第一学期 课时数:30(其中理论课时10学时,实践课时 20 学时)二、课程定位与课程设计(一)课程性质与作用1、课程性质与作用英语口语课是是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容,以外语教学理论为指导,并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。课程通过大量的口语练习和实践,逐步培养和提高学生用英语进行口头交际的能力,同时帮助学生了解主要英语国家的文化背景和生活习俗

2、。课程不仅注重语言运用能力的培养,而且重视培养学生的跨文化交际能力。通过本课程的学习,学生应能就日常生活中的一般情景进行恰当的交谈;能就社会生活中的一般话题进行连贯的发言;能比较准确地表达思想,做到语音、语调、语法正确,语言运用恰当得体。 (二)、与前后课程的联系1与前续课程的联系英语口语课程的前序课程为初高中英语课,掌握2000-3000个常用单词,熟练使用其中的1800个单词。本课程通过理实一体课课内教学和课外学生自主学习相结合,以训练学生的口语交流技能和培养学生基本的口头表达能力为主要目标,同时与旅游英语的其它专业课程一起构成学生的专业知识结构,为学生的专业发展奠定英语口语基础。表2-1

4、的理论学习和实践训练,培养学生的英语听力理解能力和英语口语表达能力,并提高学生使用英美语言进行基本交流的综合性语言应用能力,从而巩固英语口语。3旅游英语通过旅游英语课程的理论学习和实践训练,为学生提供有关旅游的专业英语的基础知识,使得学生的基础英语口语和专业相契合,为将来的就业奠定基础。4导游翻译技巧通过导游翻译技巧课程的理论学习和实践训练,培养学生的英汉互译基本技能,在提高学生英汉互译的同时,进一步提高学生口语表达流利程度。5领队英语通过山西景点导游词课程的学习,使学生掌握山西主要景点的英文导游词以及相关的英文表达,从而巩固学生的专业口语。(三)课程设计的理念与思路1.课程基本理念英语口语课

5、程遵循高职教育规律,以社会需求为导向,以应用为目的,以实践为核心,以知识为主线,以职业为背景,设计整个课程的教学过程。将基础语言交流项目和职业模拟项目贯穿其中,进行语言能力与职业能力的无缝对接,以实现知识传授、技能培养、职业能力的一体化,最终实现提高职业能力素养的目标。2.课程设计思路英语口语课程是从应用型高职英语教育自身的特点入手,在教学活动中充分体现出口语课教学的现代性,通过轻松幽默的课堂氛围和多种有趣的课堂活动,激发学生说英语的兴趣和勇气,培养学生口语表达能力,使他们能在今后的学习和工作中用英语有效进行口头的信息交流,较为有效地实现跨文化交际,同时增强其自主学习能力、提高综合文化素养,同

6、时通过专项口语内容训练,规范英语课堂的口语表达用语,为今后学生走上工作岗位打下扎实基础。三、课程目标(一)知识目标1.一般要求:能在学习过程中用英语交流,并能就某一主题进行讨论。能就日常话题和来自讲英语国家的人士进行交谈。能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。能尝试用英语组织模拟课堂教学。2.较高要求:能够和来自英语国家的人士进行比较流利的会话,较好地掌握会话策略,能基本表达个人意见、情感、观点等,能基本陈述事实、事件、理由等,表达思想清楚,语音、语调基本正确。能用准确而流利的英文组织模拟课堂教学。3.更高要求:能就一般或专业性的话

7、题较为流利、准确地进行对话或讨论,能用简练的语言概括较长、语言稍难的文本或讲话。(二)职业技能目标培养学生的口语表达能力,能够有效进行口头的信息交流,同时增强其自主学习能力,以及对外交往等交际能力。(三)职业素质养成目标1.培养学生谦虚、好学的能力;2.培养学生勤于思考、做事认真的良好作风;3.培养学生的沟通能力及团队协作精神;4.培养学生分析问题、解决问题的能力;5.培养学生勇于创新、专注目标的办事精神。四、整体教学设计(一)教学内容与学时分配英语口语课总共为30个学时,总的课程目标是让学生有正确的英语发音,在语音语调方面改正突破原有的英语发音方法,所以本课程主要分为两部分来完成:第一部分十

52、学科的最新的知识结构。4.任课教师要具有双师资格证,以便上课更游刃有余。(二)教学条件1、教学环境:(多媒体教室及微格教室);2、设备要求:多媒体视听设备(投影、功放音响、DVD录音机,摄像机等)。(三)课程资源1.教材的选用(1)教材选取的原则尽量选用理论实践一体化教材;语言本身的内容简单,词汇量在学生初高中英语基础上可以略有增加;对话内容和学生实际年龄和生活贴切。(2)推荐教材英语入门王:从ABC到流畅口语 作者:耿小辉;出版社:昂秀外语教学研究组;版别(2012-11-1第一版)高职高专英语专业系列教材:致用英语口语教程上 作者:金利民,刘黛琳,丁国声;出版社:外语教学与研究出版社;版别

53、(2011-03-01第一版)2.网络资源 (1)沪江英语(2)大耳朵英语(3)VOA慢速英语六、课程考核要求(一)考核方式:考查。英语口语课为理实一体课,最终落脚点在学生语言表达上,所以推荐作为考查课。(二)考核标准:品德、表达能力、出勤、纪律、进步。口语表达能力,课堂对话参与度占到总成绩的60%;平时考勤占总成绩的20%;课堂纪律和个人品德各占5%;个人进步情况占到总成绩10%。具体标准如下:表6-1 项目考核评价标准项目编号考核点建议考核方式考核标准成绩比例(%)90-10075-9060-751能力对话展示的数量和质量7-10次对话流利完全涵盖规定主题5-6次对话不太流利但涵盖所有规定
