14、 I would like to share with you.The story is about two soldiers and a boywalking with a donkey.On the way home,the two soldiers decided to have a few drinks ina bar.Having drunk enough,they came out into the street to look for something funny todo.But it was a very quiet place.Just then they saw a p

15、easant boy coming slowly with adonkey bya rope.So the two soldiers decided to make fun of him.“ Hello”,one of thesoldiers said to the boy.“Why does your brother have to have a rope round the neck whenhe goes fora walk withyou?” “To stophim joiningthearmy, ” theboy answered atonce.T: Thank you forbri

20、cts!He took the pan and poured all the jam intothe chickenyard and cleanedit.Then,feelingcomfortable,hebegan toeata pieceofcake.Laterwhen Mary came home she noticed the chickens were behaving very strangely.Theywere running around their yard as if they were sick.What was the matter?She went closerto

21、 findout.Shesaw thedarkredporridgeon the groundand severalchickensasleepbesideit.As she looked closer at the food she saw a plum stone.She stood up quickly and wentstraighttothekitchen.Herhusband was sittingatthetableand thepan was hanging,cleanandempty,onthewall.Maryrushedatherhusband and pulledhim

22、 hard. “Whatsthematter? ” he asked. “It s a good thing I threw away that porridge.” “But that was myjam! ” criedMary.When theywent intotheyard,theyrealizedthatthehotweatherhad turnedthejam intowineand the chickenswere drunk! “Oh,”Mary criedout, “Iforgottoputthejam into the fridge.Now what shall we d
