1、英 语 教 学 设 计人教版(新目标)单元教学设计(八年级 下册)Unit 8 Why dont you get her a scarf?梅州市五华县兴华中学张朝花 陈创霞 张丽珍人教版(新目标)单元教学设计 Unit 8 Why dont you get her a scarf?一、教材分析本单元围绕 “谈论礼物”这个话题,设计了相关的语言情境。围绕如何给他人提意见和建议展开讨论,涉及到的语言目标是比较事物的品质;语法重点是情态动词should动词原型的问句,现在完成时以及How about?等句型;因此在教学过程中采用互相交流、合作讨论的思路,充分发挥学生的积极主动性和参与性,以对话促提高

2、,在运用和谈论中体验本单元的语言功能目标和语法项目。通过单元学习,要求学生掌握如何给别人提出建议和意见,并学会谈论和比较不同的东西和事物。在此基础上,要求学会为不同的人和事选择合适的礼物,了解一些有关社会交往的习俗,从中懂得别人对自己的爱及学会爱他人。词汇的扩展部分引进了宠物名称,给学生丰富了礼物的种类,并学会对他们进行评论。二、学情分析 八年级学生通过一年的学习已具有一定的英语基础知识和语言表达能力。如,在第二单元已学过What should I do? Why dont you talk to him? How about?What about?等句型。在此基础上去学习新的语言就容易多了,

3、也能激发他们的语言学习兴趣和求知欲。而本单元学习内容及谈话的主题Gift giving贴近学生的生活,学生比较感兴趣也乐于参与语言实践活动。那么在教学中尽量创设情境,设置了一些语言对话情景,根据他们自身生活体验,鼓励他们大胆参与任务型教学实践活动,自主学习,合作交流。三、教学目标1. 知识目标A)掌握有关礼品和宠物的词汇:如photo album, mouse-mice, spider, hamster, pot-bellied, rabbit, snake, turtle, 及表示建议suggestion及评论comment的personal, special, trendy, perfec

4、t和其他一些词汇。B)掌握表示建议的句型:What should I do? Why dont you do ? Why not do ? What about doing ? How about doing ? 掌握表示评价的句型:Thats a good idea. Thats boring. Thats too personal. Thats not creative enough. Thats not interesting enough. That sounds good. C)运用Present perfect tense来描述事情。2. 能力目标. 学生能用本单元的目标语言给别人

5、提出建议和意见,同时也能够对别人的建议给出恰当的评论。. 学生能通过教师设置的情境,学会积极思考,大胆使用语言,用真实的会话场景训练他们的口语表达,活学活用,从而提高他们的英语听说等能力。3. 情感目标 本单元涉及个人生日、母亲节、父亲节等等。以此为契机,让他们认识到每一位父母为孩子们所付出的一切,就是源自心中的“爱”。继而用故事激发他们心中的爱,懂得去关爱和回报,培养学生们孝敬父母,关爱兄弟姐妹,团结同学的优良品质,培养学生们健康向上的良好兴趣以及热爱生活的思想。同时让学生们了解中西方文化的差异。四、教学重点、难点1教学重点(1)学生能熟练运用重点词汇和短语评论物品的质量。 suggesti

6、on,personal,comment,album,special, too boring/cheap/expensive.(2)掌握向他人提意见和建议的表达法。 What should I get my mum for her birthday? How about a CD ? What about a CD? Why dont you get her a scarf ? Why not get her a scarf? No, theyre too cheap. Thats not special enough. 2. 教学难点(1)能运用所学句型What should I.?Why d

How/What about?等句型和相关词汇给他人提建议或意见。(2)学习围绕“送别人礼物”这一话题而展开的比较物体品质的句型结构。如,Thats too + adj. 太,Its +adj.+ enough 足够(3)学会对不同的宠物进行评论(Make comments on pets.)五、教法选择与学法指导 1. 依据新课标以学生为主体,为学生服务的宗旨,根据本单元教材内容,采用任务型语言教学,根据学生生活实际和兴趣爱好,设置情景对话教学,通过图片描述和真实情景展现,学会在不同场合应该为他人选择什么礼物。通过听说模仿练习,情景对话,小组合作交流,讨论,调查汇报等方式让

10、如何为他人选送礼物。重点学习:运用所学句型What should I.?Why dont you? How/What about?等句型和相关词汇给他人提建议或意见的表达法。教学中通过听说训练,俩俩结对活动和小组活动来训练核心句型。其次通过听力训练,Pairwork活动和小组之间的合作交流,进一步巩固这一语言现象,提高学生的听说技能和运用语言的能力。二、教学目标(知识,技能,情感态度与价值观) Knowledge aims: 1. Thats not special enough.八、教后反思这节课运用多媒体进行英语教学,把单一、静态的教学模式变得多样化,能提高学生英语学习的兴趣和促进他们在课堂上的积极性。从课堂的整体效果来看,学生参与面广,运用英语表达自己观点的能力强,学生的主动性得到了很好的发挥,他们的见解新颖独到,课堂气氛活跃,重点难点突出,很好地达到了课时教学目标。课后,我询问了学生,他们觉得本堂课学到了不少,掌握了该学到的知识要点,收获很多。但

20、也存在着一些不足之处:1、复习步骤用时稍多,图片可以更少而精。这样学生在对话练习时,更能自由发挥,而不是拘泥于老师给的图片上的内容。2、由于学生对课堂安排的活动很感兴趣,参与的积极性很高涨,因此,课堂秩序在做活动时稍微有点乱。第二课时Section A( 3a-4 )一、教材内容分析在第一节课学习的基础上,继续谈论如何赠送礼物。通过学习句型Whats the best gift youve ever received ?掌握现在完成时的表达和运用。二、教学目标(知识,技能,情感态度与价值观)Knowledge aims: (1)Words: guy, recive, give. (2)Lang

26、n A( 3a4)1: Whats the best giftever received? 2: Present perfect tense Who gave it to? have/has+动词的过去分词 When did.get it?八、教后反思本节课在课堂设计上体现了任务型教学的主导思想,以任务贯穿教师教学和学生活动的各个环节。根据教学过程中学生认识的不同阶段,灵活运用教学模式:热身复习呈现操练巩固小结。学生活动的目的明确,能运用信息沟通的方法展开俩俩结对和小组活动,提供扩大词汇和训练核心句型的机会,运用自己的经验来谈论如何“送礼物”,进一步提高了交际技能。最后5分钟的时间,为了让学生

27、更好地理解和掌握这节课的内容,这节课“Summary”,我让学生自己总结本节课所学的内容,然后我再通过课件所呈现的图片和句式来评价学生的总结,最后通过全班的齐读来复习此节课所教的单词,句式和语法。这样既达到了总结、复习的效果,又培养了学生总结和概括的能力。不足之处是学生对现在完成时的运用还不够熟练,要在以后的训练中加以巩固。第三课时Section B (1a-2c)一、教材内容分析本节课是第三课时,通过对上两节课的复习,巩固所学的语言点,同时学习我们应该怎么养宠物,讨论宠物的优缺点,给出合理的见解,并能以书信的形式写出来。二、教学目标Knowledge aims:Be able to unde

45、,每个步骤我都给出了活动所需的语言知识内容,学生亦能准确的使用目标语言,在活动中学习掌握知识。学生的学习历程是一个由无到有,由少到多的知识积累历程,通过一段时间的学习,他们已经掌握了一些情景中的某些会话。同时努力为学生创造良好的心理环境,减轻他们的心理负担,培养学习的主动性以及独立性,在乐中学。第五课时Reading一、教材内容分析本单元是第五节课,通过阅读教材,让学生学会:1.学会本单元的阅读策略。2.通过学唱英文歌对学英语产生兴趣。3.掌握短文里的重点词汇和短语。二、教学目标(知识,技能,情感态度与价值观)Knowledge aims: (1)Words: enter; nearly; c
