1、一般现在时的基本用法：,1) 经常性或习惯性的动作，常与表示频率副词的时间状语连用。 时间状语： every morning(afternoon, Sunday), sometimes,at, on Sunday, often. usually, 例如：I wake up at six Oclock every morning. My friends often go to the park on Sundays.,2) 用于表示客观真理，客观存在，科学事实。 例如： The earth moves around the sun. 地球绕着太阳转。 Tomorrow is Tuesday. 明

2、天是星期二 注意：此用法如果出现在宾语从句中，即使主句是过去时，从句谓语也要用一般现在时。 例：Columbus proved that the earth is round.,3) 用于格言或警句中。 例如： Where there is a will, there is a way.有志者事竟成。 4) 用于表示现在时刻的状态、能力、性格、个性。 例如： She is a good girl and always help others.她是一个好女孩，经常帮助别人。 My watch is very new。我的手表很新。,比较：Now I put the sugar in the cu

I am doing my homework now. 第一句用一般现在时，用于操作演示或指导说明的示范性动作，表示言行的瞬间动作。第二句中的 now是进行时的标志，表示正在进行的动作的客观状况，所以后句用现在进行时。,一般现在时,在一般现在时里，常注意的一个原则是“主谓一致”原则。所谓“主谓一致”原则，就是当主语是第三人称单数的时候，谓语动词也要变成其相应的第三人称单数形式。例如： 1. I do my homework every day. 2. He does his homework every day. 第一句的主语是I，是第一人称，所以其谓语动词用的是原型do. 第二句主语是

4、he,是第三人称，而且是单数，所以其谓语动词变成了动词的第三人称单数形式does.,一般现在时,动词第三人称单数的变化规则 动词原形变第三人称单数的规则与发音规律同名词单数变复数大致相同，请认真观察。 1、大多数动词在词尾加“S”在清辅音后发音为s，在浊辅音及元音后发音为 z。如： stopstops s ; makemakes s readreads z ; playplays z 2、以辅音字母加“y”结尾的，要先将“y”变为“i”，然后在加“es” 如： flyflies z； carrycarries z studystudies z; worryworries,3、以“s, x, c

6、般疑问句 1将陈述句变为一般疑问句时，如句中有be 动词（am/ is/ are）时，可直接将它们提至主语前。如主语为第一人称，应将其改为第二人称。如： Im in Class 2Grade 1 Are you in Class 2Grade 1 Were watching TV Are you watching TV,一般现在时,2陈述句中有情态动词（can may must ）时，也可直接将它们提至主语前，即可成为一般疑问句。如： He can swim now Can he swim now The children may come with us May the children c

7、ome with us 3陈述句中只有一个实义动词作谓语且其时态为一般现在时，变为一般疑问句时要在句首加do或does 主语后的实义动词用原形。如： I like these animals Do you like these animals She wants to go to the movies Does she want to go to the movies He went to school yesterday. Did he go to school yesterday?,3、情态动词的否定式 情态动词的否定式一般在其后加not构成： I can finish the work

8、in an hour. 我能在1小时内完成这工作。 I cant finish the work in an hour. 我不能在1小时内完成这工作。 You must go with us. 你必须同我们一起去。 You mustnt go with us. 你不能同我们一起去。 We should help them. 我们应该帮助他们。 We shouldnt help them. 我们不必帮助他们。,一般现在时,4、实意动词的否定式 一般实意动词的否定式，通常应根据不同时态和人称在实意动词之前加dont, doesnt, didnt等： He works in a bank. 他在一家
