Students are

Teachers should strengthen students interest in studying English, build up good studying habits, improve students cooperatives and thinking abilities by listening ,speaking ,reading and writing practice. Whats more, make sure studen

3、ts are the real masters in class while teachers are directors to help students when necessary.Teaching analysis In each unit of the book “Go for it” ,there is a reading passage . We can know that it pays much attention to train students reading abilities. So it is very important for students to lear

4、n how to read better and better. In unit 7, the topic is talking about future, I think its related to students daily life, experiences and cognitive level. And this reading passage is about robots. As a result, I design this lesson to help students read, learn and think more.Analysing students As fo

5、r Junior 2 Students, they are already at different levels of English , but they still want to show them off. So during the lesson, I arrange many tasks to let every student join in . And I try my best to attract their interest and encourage them to read carefully ,work in groups and learn from each

6、other.Teaching aims Combining teaching materials and high efficient classroom rules, I design the following teaching aims. 1. Teacher helps students have a better understanding about the reading passage by skimming, scanning and careful reading.2. Teach students guess and learn some new words and ex

7、pressions from the context.3. Let students work in groups and use what theyve learned in the passage to finish the tasks in groups and show in class.4. Teacher encourages students to share their ideas about robots in English.Key points1. To have a better understanding about the reading passage by sk

Group work , pair work and competition system Purposes: To train students good reading habits, practice reading strategies, improve their teamwork, and help them to do something in English.Learning Methods In order to help students learn more actively an

Greetings and Warming up by singing and dancing(3mins)I invite students to watch a vid

Purposes: To create relaxing and pleasant English environment, and to help students to build up confidence.Step 2 Lead-in (brainstorming)(4mins)I will show many pictures and ask students to answer these two questions 1. What will they do?_ Purposes: Students will be interested in all kinds of robot pictures.Then ILL tell students what we are going to learn in this lesson.Step 3 Before reading (make a prediction)(1min)Let students predict what the passge is about according to the title and the picture in the text

Purposes:To teach students some reading strategies.Step 4 While reading(20mins)Skimming(fast reading):Task 1Read the article quickly and match each paragraph with the question it discusses.Para. 1 Will robots think like humans in the future?Para. 2 What will robots be like in the future?
