3、ubjects.2) A good book is the sum of all wisdom, a kind of treasure, and can be handed down from generation to generation.3) Books give us food for thinking.4) Although books cant provide us with the up-to-date news, yet from the books we can learn lessons from the past.1)TV programs are more appeal

4、ing with sound, motion and pictures.2)TV programs help us to keep track of the current political & economical affairs and the latest scientific & technological progresses.3)We can relax ourselves by watching colorful TV programs.4)But TV viewers are usually passive recipients.1. As I see it, books p

5、rovide more profound knowledge than TV programs.2. But I believe TV is the thing that really gives us the picture of what the world is like currently.3.But for books human beings could never have inherited the wisdom and legacy passed over by our ancestors, thus we could never have progressed so qui

6、ckly.4. I wonder if you could by any chance rely on the book knowledge too much so that you ignore what is happening around us now?5. Could I possibly ask you to show me an example that TV programs help students to learn? In my mind, while you are watching TV, all you have to do is to sit back and r

7、eceive everything that is shown there.You dont really do any thinking or reacting, do you?6. Come to think of it, youre probably right. But isnt it possible that you are reading yet without thinking and reacting?7. If I were you , I would get a more balanced view of the two. As a student, I regard books as an indispensable part of my life and will do what I can to make the best use of all those good books . However, I need TV to enrich my life all the same, especially at weekends and during the vacations.
