INSPECT GENERATOR BRUSH HOLDER ASSEMBLY检查发电机碳刷装置(a) Using vernier calipers,measure the exposed brush legth. 。用游标卡尺测出露在外面的碳刷的长度Standard exposed length:标准长度9.5 to 11.5 mm (0.374 to 0.453 in.)9.5 to 11.5 mm (0.374 to 0.453 in.)Minimum exposed length:最小长度1.5 mm ( 0.059 in.)1.5 mm ( 0.05

2、9 in.)If the exposed length is less than the minimum, neplace the generator brush holder assembly.如果碳刷长度小于最小值，替换发电机的碳刷装置。2. INSPECT GENERATOR REGULATOR ASSEMBLY检查发电机调节器装配(a) Using an ohmmeter, check the continuity between terminals F an B（ a）使用欧姆表，检查F 与 B 之间的是否连通。Standard:标准 .When the positive and n

3、egative poles between terminals F and B are exchanged, there is continuity in one direction but no continuity in the other direction.当 F 和 B 之间的正极和负极被交换时，有在一个方向是连通的，但是在另一个方向的没有连通的。If the continuity is not as specified, replace the generator regulator assembly.如果不是规定的连通值，替换发电器调节器装配(b) Using an ohmmet

4、er, check the continuity between terminals F and E.（ b）使用欧姆表，检查F 与 E 之间是否连通。Standard:标准：When the positive and negative poles between terminals F and E are exchanged, there is continuity in one direction but no continuity in the other direction.当 F 和 B 之间的正极和负极被交换时，有在一个方向是连通的，但是在另一个方向的没有连通的。If the co

7、高If the result is not as specified, replace the generator assembly.如果不是规定电阻值，替换发电器定子线圈 装配(c) Inspect the bearing.（ c）检查轴承。(1) Make sure that the bearing is not rough or worn.轴承是否粗糙或磨损过度。If necessary, replace the generator assembly.如果有必要， 替换发电器装配。4 INSPECT GENERATOR HOLDER WITH RECTIFIER 4 检查发电机整流器(a

8、) Using an ohmmeter, check the continuity among terminals P1, P2, P3 and B, andamong P1, P2, P3 and E.使用欧姆计，检查P1、 P2、 P3 和 B 之中和在P1、P2、 P3 和 E 之中是否连通Standard:标准When the positive and negative poles among terminals P1, P2, P3 and B are exchanged, there is continuity in one direction but no continuity

11、esistance: 1.7 to 2.1 at 20oC(68oF)标准电阻：在 20oC (68oF)的情况下1.7 到 2.1If the resistance is not as specified, replace the generator rotor assembly.如果不是规定电阻值，替换发电器转子 装配(b)Check the generator rotor for short circuits.（二）检查发电机转子的短路。(1) Using an ohmmeter, check the resistance between the slip ring and genera

12、tor rotor assembly.（ 1）用欧姆表，检查滑环和发电机转子之间的电阻。Standard resistance:标准电阻：10K or higher10K 或更高If the result is not as specified, replace the generator rotor assembly.如果不是规定电阻值，替换发电器转子 装配(c)Inspect the slip rings.（ c ）检查的滑环。(1) Make sure that the slip rings are not rough or scored.（ 1 ）滑环不否粗糙或磨损过度。If roug

13、h or scored, replace the generator rotor assembly.如果 粗糙或磨损过度，替换发电器电动机滑环 装配(2) Using vernier calipers ,measure the slip ring diameter.（ 2 ）用卡尺，测量滑环的直径。Standard diameter:标准直径：14.2 to 14.4 mm (0.559 to 0.567 in. )14.2至 14.4毫米（ 0.559至 0.567英寸Minimum diameter:最小直径：12.8mm (0.504 in .)12.8mm（ 0.504英寸）If the diameter is less than the minimum, replace the generator rotor assembly.如果直径小于最小值，替换发电器电动机滑环 装配 。
