2、 from January 1th to 15th in the lunar calendar of we China.Status Its the most lively, popular and grandest traditional festival in China.Origin and History It has a about 4000-year history . In the ancient times, its the “Spring” season, one of the twenty-four lunar solar terms. But after the Nort

3、hern and Southern Chinese, it was changed in the end of the year , referring to throughout the spring , when Vientiane update. So people put it as the beginning of the year. In the early years of the Republic after the Revolution of 1911 , they put the first month bound for the Spring Festival when

4、the Lunar Gregorian calendar is changed as Gregorian . It was until on September 27th, 1949 that the Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) officially put the first day of the first lunar month to the fifteenth day of the New Year as the Spring Festival.
