1、Admissions Brochures of Shaanxi University of Chinese MedicineI General IntroductionBased on the Northwest Training School of Traditional Chinese Medic ine (TCM) which was founded in 1952, Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine was founded in 1959, moving to Xianyang city, Shaanxi provinee in 1961,

2、the first ancient capital city of Qin dynasty in the Chinese feudal society. Our university is one of the first colleges of TCM in the no rthwest of China for cultivat ing high-level tale nts on traditi onal Chin ese medic ine and pharmacology. Our un iversity is one of the eight key-c on structive

3、uni versities on TCM con firmed by the cen tral government s No.56 document in 1978 and is one of the fii-btatches for right to confer master degree of TCM gran ted by Academic Degrees Committee of the Sate Council in 1981.Shaa nxi prov in ce, with short title as Shaa n or Qin, is located at the mos

4、t intern al la nd of Chin a. Its Lon gitude 105 9-11115 , north latitude 3142-39 3, possessing the vital position that connects east middle districtsand southwest, n orthwest districts in China. Thus, we enjoy convenient tran sportati on, satisfactory environment, and whatore, forstude nts it is an ideal place to study. 10、i nical TCM comb in atio n with Modern Medici ne College, Cli nical Medici ne College, Pharmaceutical College, and Adva need Educati on College, etc.; eight academic teach ing departme nts, such as Dept. of Acup uncture and Moxibustio n, Dept. of Nursing, Dept. of Medical Tech no logy, Dept. of Publ

11、ic Health, Dept. of Huma nities and Science, Dept. of En glish, Dept. of Sports, and Dept. of Society and Science, etc.; two affiliated hospitals directly un der the supervisi on of the uni versity, 9 affiliated hospitals in directly un der the supervisi on of the university, 1 GMP pharmaceutical fa

12、ctory and 1 medical history museum. More than 2415 teaching and admi nistrative staff (in cludi ng staff in two affiliated hospitals) con tributes themselves to the developme nt of the university, with 492 associate professors and above. There are 224 supervisors of master s degreepart-time supervis

13、ors of doctor degree programs. In particular, our university owns a great master on TCM- ZHANG Xuewen, who is the only one in the northwest of China. And what snore, celebrated experts, scholars and professors, such as Prof. GUO Chengjie, the famous inheriting acupuncturist expert (only three in Chi

19、ducation units to accept international students and students from Hong Kong、 Macao and Taiwan by the Ministry of National Education. Our university has established the training system of differe nt levels and approaches, in cludi ng full-time un dergraduate, master postgraduate, and short-term trai

20、ning program. The Dept. of Intern ati onal Cooperati on and Communi cati on (including Office of Hong Kong 、Macao and Taiwan Affair) is responsible for all kinds of international students recruit and acceptanee, as well as the arrangement of teaching plan, providing excellent service for all student

With the exter nal continu ous educati onal developme nt, our intern ati onal stude nts upward in creas ing, up to now, there are altogether 1,000 stude nts, from coun tries like Can ada, the US, Japa n, South Korea, Malaysia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, districts like Hong Kong
