1、研发校本课程,感受新课程改革-高中校本课程旅游英语研发过程总结喜讯:在市教研室推荐的基础上,省教研室组织专家进行了认真评审,我们研发的校本课程旅游英语被评为浙江省普通高中100门精品选修课程之一。我们的研发小组有等老师。下面,我代表我们研发小组回顾校本课程旅游英语的研发过程,感受新一轮课程改革。一、校本课程旅游英语研发的背景我省启动了新课程实验,至今已有6年。新课程改革初期,学校领导就传达了上级教育行政部门对课程改革的规划与改革前景:“实现普通高中学生有选择地学习,促进学生全面而有个性发展”,学生自主选课、跑班上课等。当时我们很多老师持不相信态度,似乎觉得这种模式只在大学里才能实施。但学校领导

2、在应对新课改政策的措施上与上级教育行政部门保持高度一致,在深入开展学生研究性学习与社会实践活动的同时,结合地方旅游特色经济和学生心理健康,研发旅游英语和学生心理健康指导等校本课程,并于2007年开始在高一年级将旅游英语作为选修课程进行课堂教学,每班两周一节课。当时旅游英语课堂教学的内容只是聚焦天台山旅游文化的推介与旅游景点的英语介绍,对学生的能力要求与培养并不全面。随着教学的不断深入,我们发现旅游英语在实现国家教育部提出的新课程标准的三维课程目标的知识与技能、过程与方法上存在着偏差。课程如果只局限于天台山旅游文化的推介与旅游景点的英语介绍,那么就没法提升学生的社会实践能力和提高学生英语口语水平

3、。为此,我们现在呈现的旅游英语在课程实施过程中进行不断的修改与完善,在培养学生知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度与价值观的三维课程目标上作出了很大的努力。而这些努力与我们浙江省新一轮普通高中课程改革的指导思想和总体思路所倡导的“调结构、优方法”是完全一致的。二、天台中学校本课程研发的指导思想由于社会对学校办学业绩的评价主要集中在高考成绩上,于是高考成绩的好坏直接影响到学校的办学声誉。为此,学校在应对新一轮课程改革的指导思想为:所有研发的校本课程都应利用各类资源,以提高学生的高考成绩为宗旨,以有利于学生个性发展,引导他们自主选择、自主学习、自主发展为目标,以提高学生的学习兴趣、促进学生的专业发展倾

4、向、提升学生的生活品质为努力方向,构建学校选修课的课程体系。学校要走在新一轮课程改革的前列,但务必不要成为新课改的先烈!研发校本课程的指导原则: “保住底线”打牢学生共同发展的基础; “发展差异”发展学生不同的基础; “鼓励冒尖”培养学生的个性特长。使课程促进每个学生的发展,满足不同学生自身发展的不同需求,学校本着“加强基础,促进发展”的要求,立足差异性,针对学生的实际水平和学生发展方向、学习能力倾向的不同,开展分层教学,努力保障学生达到共同基础,并为学生个性特长的发展拓宽学习时空。三、校本课程旅游英语的诞生大家知道,每一门课程的研发都离不开课程理论-新课程标准的指导。在新课标的指导下搭建要研

5、发的课程框架结构,然后根据这些框架结构去充实内容,研发新课程。下面我将就旅游英语课程的设计理念与思路、教学目标、课程的基本内容、课程实施建议和课程评价做一些阐述。1.课程设计的理念与思路旅游英语是我们学校贯彻落实教育部提出的新课程标准的“三维目标”即“知识与技能”、“过程与方法”、“情感态度与价值观”而实施的。新课程的“三维目标”旨在培养学生全面发展,注重学生在品德、才智、审美等方面的成长,是国家新课程基本理念的重要体现之一。在知识与技能目标上,新课标强调基础知识和基本技能的获得。基础知识主要包括人类生存所不可或缺的核心知识和学科基本知识;基本能力主要指获取、收集、处理、运用信息的能力、创新精

6、神和实践能力、终身学习的能力。在过程与方法目标上,新课标突出的是让学生“学会学习”,使学生获得知识的过程同时成为获得学习方法和能力发展的过程,主要包括人类生存所不可或缺的过程与方法。过程指应答性学习环境和交往、体验。方法包括基本的学习方式(自主学习、合作学习、探究学习)和具体的学习方式(发现式学习、小组式学习、交往式学习等)。在情感态度与价值观目标上,新课标不仅专注于人的理性发展,更致力于教育的终极目的即人格完善。情感不仅指学习兴趣、学习责任,更重要的是乐观的生活态度、求实的科学态度、宽容的人生态度。价值观不仅强调个人的价值,更强调个人价值和社会价值的统一;不仅强调科学的价值,更强调科学的价值

7、和人文价值的统一;不仅强调人类价值,更强调人类价值和自然价值的统一,从而使学生内心确立起对真善美的价值追求以及人与自然和谐和可持续发展的理念。这三维目标互相联系,融为一体,体现了学生的全面发展、个性发展和终身发展的基本规律,体现了学生各种素质在学科课程培养中的有机联系,也体现了时代对基础性学习能力、发展性学习能力和创新性学习能力培养的整体要求。而我们家乡天台是国家著名的AAAA级风景区,是国家“旅游节”创办的发源地,现在正在争创国家级AAAAA级风景区,平时国内外游客络绎不绝。我们天台中学作为地方龙头学校,利用自身的教学资源优势为地方经济的繁荣与发展有着义不容辞的责任。开设的校本课程旅游英语不

8、但可以丰富学生的学习内容,而且让学生通过走进真实的或者模拟的旅游场景,培养他们学以致用的能力:运用所学英语知识,并结合天台山文化,提高实践交际能力,为学生走出天台,走向世界,打下扎实的英语交际基础!我们设想通过该课程的教学,既拓宽了学生的知识面,丰富了学生的乡土意识,又提升了学生的社会实践能力,提高了学生英语口语水平。该课程在实施过程中重视学生积极的学习态度、灵活的学习策略及国际化文化交际意识培养,为他们的终身学习奠定基础!基于此,我们编写了旅游英语这套校本课程。2课程教学目标:旅游英语具有很强的专业性和实践性。旅游英语专业名词多、专业知识面宽、专业词汇量大,同时,旅游英语的理论知识不能脱离旅

9、游实践而存在。只有把旅游英语应用到现实的旅游场景中去,才使这门语言具有生命力。因此,我们将课程定位在:旅游英语的教学要求学生走进真实的或者模拟的旅游场景中,从而更好地体现了旅游英语实践教学的作用。旅游英语设计了体验式的对话学习内容,将天台山旅游推介与英语日常旅游服务对话用语等学习融成一体。教材让学生通过走进真实的或者模拟的旅游场景,培养他们学以致用的能力:运用所学英语知识,并结合天台山文化,提高实践交际能力,为学生走出天台,走向世界,打下扎实的英语交际基础!我们设想通过该课程的教学,既拓宽了学生的知识面,丰富了学生的乡土意识,又提升了学生的社会实践能力,提高了学生英语口语水平。该课程的在实施过

10、程中重视学生积极的学习态度、灵活的学习策略及国际化文化交际意识培养,为他们的终身学习奠定基础!这也实现了教育部提出的新课程标准的“三维目标”即“知识与技能”、“过程与方法”、“情感态度与价值观”的要求。旅游英语的开设是为学生打好旅游英语的语言基础,使他们初步掌握旅游英语知识,强化旅游英语语言能力实际应用的培养。而对于旅游英语选修课来说,其中的英语文体与我们必修英语课堂教学相辅相成,是我们必修英语课堂教学的有益补充。总的目标可以分为“文本感知”和“实践应用”两个方面。文本感知:在旅游英语教学中,不断充实相关天台风景旅游的地方特色英语知识,完善提升认知境界,逐步加深对学生个体与地方人文、个人与自然

11、景观关系的思考和认识,实现新课标提出的“知识与技能”“情感态度与价值观”的目标。实践应用:1、景点介绍:培养学生鉴赏景点的浓厚兴趣,丰富自己的情感世界,养成健康高尚的审美情趣,提高个人气质修养。2、人文典故:培养学生从旅游英语层面中汲取思想、感情和艺术的营养,丰富、深化对历史、社会和人生的认识,提高英语文学修养,形成良好的文化心态,完善价值判断和审美取向。3、前台接待:培养学生学会真正的旅游英语接待能力,在实践中学,在旅游英语口语锻炼中提升拓宽英语文化视野和思维空间,培养科学精神,提高个人的英语文化修养,实现新课标提出的“知识与技能”“过程与方法”的目标。 3课程基本内容本课程将旅游英语的交际

12、用语和天台山旅游的相互结合,旅游英语共分为三大部分:前言、情景对话和天台之旅。前言部分聚焦天台山得天独厚的自然景观和悠久灿烂的人文景观,对整个天台山的旅游风景名胜作了推介。情景对话主要涉及英语日常旅游服务对话用语如:旅游、住宿、游览、娱乐、饮食、购物等内容。目的是让让学生通过走进真实的或者模拟的旅游场景,感受地道的英语日常旅游服务用语,提高他们的英语口语和英语交际能力。天台之旅又分为佛宗道源篇、风物民情篇和今日天台城三部分。其中佛宗道源篇着重介绍了天台山寺观、国清寺、方广寺、和合二圣、五百罗汉、一行到此水西行、王羲之的“独笔鹅字碑”、 智者塔院、智者大师、赤城山、济公、济公故里的传说、桐柏宫和

13、张伯端、张伯端与道教南宗、寒山子、寒山湖、刘晨阮肇、华顶森林公园等自然和人文景观,以旅游者的游览足迹为先后顺序给以安排和呈现。每个部分都配有注解,方便学生自学,同时也适合有一定英语基础而有志于天台旅游事业的业余导游和饭店工作人员自学。全文后面还配有中文翻译和参考答案,供学者参考,便于学习。4课程实施建议旅游英语摈弃了以往选修教材泛读材料一统天下的局面,借鉴国内外、港、台地区等一些教材的先进理念,设计了体验式的对话学习内容,将天台山旅游推介与英语日常旅游服务对话用语等学习融成一体,体现了我省新一轮课程改革的指导思想“减总量、调结构、优方法、改评价、创条件”和新课标所倡导的“以人为本”的理念关注每

14、个学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,提高人文素养,增强实践能力,培养创新精神”。 旅游英语面向高一、高二年级全体学生,每周一节,选修一年。本书适用普通高中学生使用,同时,对于旅游爱好者的学习和研究有一定的参考价值。(一)学习方式:课内外理论学习与实践相结合,即日常旅游英语对话学习与操练、乡土风情发掘、实地体验与实践、小组对话与研讨等。(二)教学方式:课内外知识传授与实践相结合,即日常旅游英语基础知识传授、实景演示、电教配合、小组研讨、现场景点讲解、模拟接待训练、考查等。5课程评价(一)指导思想:通过学习评价,使其促进学生自主学习的能力,培养学生良好的学习习惯,激发学生对地方旅游资源的兴趣发掘

15、,侧重共同知识、技能、素质的形成,为学生的英语教育终身发展奠定共同的根基,特点是基础性和均衡性。而选修课则侧重拓展学科视野,深化学科知识与技能,发展学生的特长、个性,特点是多样性和拓展性,同时也作为高中英语必修课的一项主要补充。(二)评价方式:1学习评价指标(一)旅游资源的认知程度;2学习评价指标(二)旅游英语实际操作能力;3学习评价指标(三)教师通过口语和书面考试决定综合评定,给予相应等第。 上述评价等第均为:优秀、良好、及格、须努力四档。四、校本课程旅游英语展示Contents (目录)一、Preface 导言-1二、Conversation in context 情景对话-11 1.
