Writing is the sixth period of this module following reading and listening, so it can deepen the understanding of this module. According to the New Standard Curriculum, we should enable the students to express their views on th

3、ings or people.Key points: How to get the students to grasp the writing structure of contrast essays and write an essay according to the template.Difficult points: How to encourage the students to express their opinions and debate.Analysis of the students :As we know , the Senior 1 students have gre

4、at interest in this topic .They have desire to express themselves. But their English level is not very high. So they may have difficulty writing contrast essays and havent formed certain patterns.Teaching aimsKnowledge aim: 1. Enable the students to grasp the argumentation writing structure and to j

5、oin sentences into a composition.2. Enable the students to use basic sentence patterns to express their views. Such as ,in my opinion, as for me , as far as I am concerned ,etc.Ability aim:1. To improve the students writing ability especially the argumentation writing2. To encourage the students to

But in the cartoon, B

8、ig Big wolf disorderly uses it , which causes bad influence ,and then ask students to answer questions:1.Do you know who invented the seismograph? 2. Can you say the influence of the Chinese Seismograph?Interest is the best teacher. This step can arouse the students interest in learning about great

9、inventionsBy answering these questions, make students realize that everything has two sides.Step2ReadingActivity1: ask students to read the passage and finish matching the paragraphs with the description. Activity2: work in pairs and try to answer some questions:1.How many advantages are described?

18、 this lesson ,I make the best of the reading passage to find structure, and I help the students build a composition template and recite it .They write a contrast composition according to the template and evaluate it. Whats more, I encourage the students to take part in all kinds of activities .The o

19、verall effect is good .But for some students ,they dont have enough time in writing step .So Ill pay attention to them and give timely help. Eventually we achieve promotion of writing ability.The whole teaching background determines the teaching aims and the teaching procedures. In turn, the teachin
