1、初二英语形容词比较级复习英语里表示性质的形容词，通常用词形变化来表示性质的程度。这种变化叫做比较的等级。形容词的比较有三个等级：原级，即形容词的原形，如long（长）；比较级，如longer（更长）；最高级，如longest（最长）。这里我们只介绍形容词比较级的变化和用法。一、 变化规律1、规则变化 一般单音节词和少数双音节词的变化规则如下：（1） 在词尾加er 如high-higher， tall-taller（2） 词尾是不发音的e，只加r 如nice-nicer，large-larger（3） 以辅音字母加y结尾的，变y为i，再加er 如busy-busier，easy-easier（4

2、） 重读闭音节，结尾只有一个辅音字母时，需双写这一字母，再加er 如big-bigger，thin-thinner，hot-hotter，wet-wetter多音节词和部分双音节词，在词前加more如careful-more careful，beautiful-more beautiful，modern-more modern2、少数形容词的比较级是不规则的如good/well-better，much/many-more， little-less，bad-worse二、 形容词比较级的用法形容词比较级的基本句式是：主语A动词形容词比较级than主语B。如：Tom is taller than
