1、一 连词的含义 连词是一种虚词，在句中不能单独作句子的成分，也没有词形变化。它只起连接词与词，短语与短语或句子与句子的作用。二 连词的种类连词分为并列连词和从属连词。1 并列连词：分为常用和关联两种 常用并列连词：and but or so And 是常用的并列连词，它可以连接对等关系的词，短语或句子。常意为“和，又，同” ？e.g I stayed at home and cleaned the house. You ,he and I must go. Lets go and play football.But是表示意义转折的连词，可连接两种并列成分或句子，连接成分只能是两个，表对比，相当

2、于and yet .可意为“但是，然而”e.g : Not you but I am wrong . Its a nice house ,but it doesnt get a garden He is young ,but very experienced.Or表选择，只选其一e.g :Which is the biggest ,the sun the moon or the earth ? Mary or I am wrong. Dont move, or Ill shoot you .So表示结果，连接句子。为了与前句连贯或表示惊异，so 可放在句首。e.g : It was very

3、hot ,so I opened the window . Its raining now ,so I bring an umbrella out . The bear thought he was dead ,so it went away . 关联并列连词 Bothand 和，不但而且e.g Both Li Ping and Wu Na are English teachers. If he arrived late ,he would lose both the land and the money.Eitheror 要么要么 ；不是就是e.g Either I or you make
