Warming upT: Different countries have different manners, but people use different ways to show their feelings,( teachers can guide student do the exercise 1.) Have students look at the scale of “degrees of showing emotion” and as
3、a class discuss where they would place people from Italy, Japan, Britain and the USA. Encourage students to give reasons for their opinions and to comment on the stereo-types that these nationalities have in China.Listening Listen to Part 1 of the interview about communication in different cultures.
