8、莉坐在我的前面。in front of 意为 在的前面”,是指外部的前面;in the front of意为 在前”是指内部的前面。如There are lots of flowers in front of the building.大楼的前面有许多花。There is a blackboard in the front of the classroom.教室的前面有一块黑板。(2) Before与in front of者B有 在之前”的意思。但当表示在在建筑物的前面”时,应用in front of ;当表示 “在某段时间或某件事之前”时,用 Before. 如:The bus stops

9、in front of the shopping mall.公共汽车停在大卖场前面。You must finish this work before Tuesday.你必须在星期二之前完成这项工作。(3) 常见的介词Inside-outside在 内 ;在 外above-below在 上面,超过;在下,低于over under 超过,多余; 少于,在下in front of -behind 在 的前面;在 的后面Between表示两者之间Among表示三者或三者以上之间2.The ordinal numbers序数词 “第一,第二,第三”是特殊: first , second, third ,

10、从第四个开始有规律大多数直接 在基数词后面加th。第几十”请注意,变y为ie再加th。序数词在句中作定语时一般与定冠词 the 连用。如: My teacher is always the first one to get to school.我的老师总是第一个到校。 Our team won the first prize in the football match.我们队在这次足球比赛中赢得了第一。序数词前有形容词性物主代词作定语时,省略 the,如:This is my second time to watch the lion dance.这是我第二次看舞狮。(1) 短语及句型 Ill

11、 arrive in Beijing on Sunday.我将于周日到达北京。Arrive 为不及物动词,意为 “到达 ” 若于 in 连用,后接大地点,若与 at 连用后接小地点。可与 get to, reach 互换。如:I usually arrive at school at seven o;fiCliCk. 7 点至U学校。(2) I can t wait to see yoU.迫不及待要见你。Can t wait to do sth 意为 “迫不及待地做某事”e.g. On the morning of Chinese new year, we can t wait to put

12、on the new clothes.春节的早上,我们迫不及待要穿新衣服。(3) That sounds great, Simon. 听起来很棒,西蒙。Sound 为连系动词,后接形容词作表语 意为 “听起来 ” ,类似的词有taste, look, feel,smell 等。(4) Where else are we going?Where else= what other places else 常放在what , who , where 等疑问词及与 -body , -one ,-place, -thing结合而成的不定代词后。Step 6.
