2、:The students look at the CAI and then answer teachers question: Whats she doing?Step 2 Presentation:1.Teach new words: weather , warm , cold , hot , cool .2. The students spell the words, teacher writes them on the blackboard .3. Play a game: “Which one is missing?”4. The students look at the four
3、pictures and try to say the sentences: “Its warm/cool/hot/cold.” 5. The students listen to the tape and imitate it carefully.6. Game1: match and say: The students look at the pictures and match the pictures, then they should say “Its warm. I can wear my shirt.”7. Teacher asks the students to look at
4、 the pictures and teaches the key sentences “Its hot in Hong Kong.” The students look at the CAI and try to say out the weather of the other cities.Step 3 Consolidation and extension:1. Look at the video and listen to the weather report : Teacher says“ He is my student from Grade 4. He likes English
5、 very much. Now he is a weather reporter. Lets listen and imitate him.”2. Pair work: Look at the CAI and practice reporting the weather of the given cities .Then one student of the four groups comes to the front and report the weather.Step 4 Homework:1.
