1、英语比赛演讲稿英语比赛演讲稿英语比赛演讲稿1 to me march 28th was a lucky day. it was on that particular evening that i found myself at central stage, in the spotlight. winning the 21st centuryericsson cup seventh national English speaking petition is a memory that i shall treasure and one that will surely stay.i found t

2、hat, after all, i like municating with other people; that exchanging views can be so much funand so much rewarding, both emotionally and intellectually; that public speaking is most effective when you are least guarded; and that it is essential to success in every walk of life.at a more practical le

3、vel, i realized knowing what you are going to say and how you are going to say it are equally important. to take the original ideas out of your head and transplant them, so to speak, to that of others, you need to have an organized mind. this ability improves with training.yet there should not be an

4、y loss or addition or distortion in the process. those ideas that finally find their waysintosanother head need to be recognizably yours. language is a means to transmit information, not a means to obstruct munication. it should be lucid to be perating.in china, certain public speaking skills have b

5、een unduly emphasized. will it really help, we are pelled to ask, to bang at the podium or yell at the top of your lungs, if you have e with a poorly organized speech, a muddled mind, and unwillingness to truly share your views?above all, the single most important thing i learnt was that as a public

6、 speaker, you need to pay attention, first and foremost, to the content of your speech. and second, the structure of your speech: how one idea relates and progresses to another.i was informed afterwards that i was chosen to be the winner for my appropriately worded speech, excellent presence and qui

7、ck-witted response. in so remarking, the judges clearly showed their preference: they e to listen for meaningful ideas, not for loose judgments, nor easy laughters.some contestants failed to address their questions head on. some were able to, but did not knowswheresto stopthe dragging on betrayed th

8、eir lack of confidence. the root cause was that they did not listen attentively to the questions. or they were thinking of what they had prepared.as i said in my speech, it is vitally important that we young people do more serious thinking . to take them issues like globalization on and give them ho

9、nest thinking is the first step to be prepared for both opportunities and challenges ing our way. we need to respond honestly.a petition like this draws talented students from all over the country. and of course, i learnt more things than just about public speaking. since in the final analysis, publ

10、ic speaking is all about effective munication. and this goes true for all munications, whatever their setting.and the following is the final version of my speech:globalization:opportunities and challengesfor chinas younger generationthirty years ago, american president richard nixon made an epoch-ma

11、king visit to china, a country still isolated at that time. premier zhou enlai said to him, your handshake came over the vastest ocean in the worldtwenty-five years of no munication. thirty years since, china and america have exchanged many handshakes. the fundamental implication of this exle is tha

12、t the need to municate across differences in culture and ideology is not only felt by the two countries but by many other nations as well.china is now actively integratingsintosthe world. our recent entry to the wto is a good exle. for decades, we have taken pride in being self-reliant, but now we r

13、ealize the importance of participating in and contributing to a broader economic order. from a precarious role in the world arena to our present wto membership, we have e a long way.but what does the way ahead look like? in some parts of the world people are demonstrating against globalization. are

14、they justified, then, in criticizing the globalizing world? instead of narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor, they say, globalization enables the developed nations to swallow the developing nations wealth in debts and interest. globalization, they argue, should be about a mon interest in e

15、very other nations economic health.we are reminded by karl marx that capital goes beyond national borders and eludes control from any other entity. this has bee a reality. multinational corporations are seeking the lowest cost, the largest market, and the most favourable policy. they are often power

16、ful lobbyists in gover_ent decision-making, ruthless expansionists in the global market and a devastating presence to local businesses.for china, still more challenges exist. how are we going to ensure a smooth transition from the planned economy to a market-based one? how to construct a legal syste

17、m that is sound enough and broad enough to respond to the needs of a dynamic society? how to maintain our cultural identity in an increasingly homogeneous world? and how to define greatness in our rise as a peace-loving nation? globalization entails questions that concern us all.like many young peop

18、le my age in china, i want to see my country get prosperous and enjoy respect in the international munity. but it seems to me that mere patriotism is not just enough. it is vitally important that we young people do more serious thinking and broaden our mind to bigger issues. there might never be eas

19、y answers to those issues such as globalization, but to take them on and give them honest thinking is the first step to be prepared for both opportunities and challenges ing our way. this is also one of the thoughts that came to me while preparing this speech.英语比赛演讲稿2 尊敬的各位教师、同学们:大家早上好!我的名字叫xxx,今年12

20、岁了。这一次,我获得了“全国中小学生英语口语大赛”一等奖,感到非常辛运,在这里,我要感谢我的父母,是他们给我创造了安静的环境让我更好的练习口语;感谢我所在的三义里小学,是这所学校给我了这次参赛的时机;感谢我的班主任程教师,是她精心指导我怎样说英语;感谢我们办的全班同学,是他们一直在支持我,鼓励我。谢谢你们!我从英语是全班最差的同学,变成了一个获得过“全国中小学生英语口语大赛”一等奖的英语小天才,我无数次的不想再坚持练下去,我用自己与同学们玩的时间,在练字。我是多么希望像别的同学一样,快活的玩着。我就像一个还没有完全学会走路的小孩,一路走的磕磕绊绊,可是,我用自己的毅力克制了自己,渐渐的我去认真

21、地走好每一步,最终我是成功的,我是快乐的!此时此刻我捧着手中的奖,心里感慨万千。虽然并不多,但我想这每一个奖的背后都是各位同学日夜苦战,用自己的勤奋努力和教师家长们的付出换来的。我不想说我们累,更不想说我们苦。因为我们是青春、潇洒的90后,风雨过后我们仍然会展露笑容,今日的累是为了我们明日的辉煌,为了我们肩上那不可推卸的历史重任。我相信我们会做的更好。不过,获得了奖并不意味着就到达了我们的目的而可以停滞不前。在人生旅途中,获奖只是一种助推器,而不是最根本的动力器。我们要如何前进?答案就掌握在我们自己的手中。所以,奖并不是我们最终的目的,而是我们前进路途中的一股动力。我们应正确对待这种奖励和荣誉。不能因为一时获得好的成绩而骄傲,也不能因为成绩一时不理想而气馁。学习就如逆水行舟,不进那么退。只有不断地努力,不骄不躁,认真对待学习,不轻言放弃,看淡得失。以一颗平常心,踏实勤奋。才能获得更优异的成绩,才能创造更美妙的将来。当然,没有获得奖的同学更不能放弃。要努力起来,哪怕最终没有成功,最起码自己努力了,也无愧于心。作为一名学生,面对获奖,我除了些许的紧张和好奇,更多的是一份坦然,我们相信努力就会成功。在此,我也想送上我衷心的祝福,希望你们能放飞自己的理想,创出更美的辉煌。谢谢大家!谢谢大家!第 8 页 共 8 页
