1、 一 、 要 弄 清 楚 英 语 句 子 的 结 构 ， 我 们 先 要 弄 清 楚 组 成 一 个句 子 的 各 个 组 成 部 分 ， 即 句 子 的 成 分 ： 主 语 、 谓 语 、 宾 语 、表 语 、 定 语 、 状 语 、 补 足 语 和 同 位 语 的 概 念 。1、 主 语 ： 是 一 个 句 子 所 要 说 明 的 人 和 事 物 ， 是 一 句 的 主体 。 如 I study English中 的 I。 作 主 语 的 有 ： 名 词 、 代 词 、数 词 、 不 定 式 、 动 名 词 和 主 语 从 句 。2、 谓 语 ： 它 是 说 明 主 语 的 动 作 或 状

2、 态 的 ， 如 I study English中 的 study.作 谓 语 的 有 ： 及 物 动 词 或 及 物 动 词 短 语 。3、 宾 语 ： 它 是 表 示 及 物 动 词 或 及 物 动 词 短 语 所 作 用 的 对象 的 ， 如 I study English 中 的 English和 He makes full use of his spare time to study中 的 his spare time.介 词 后 的 名 词 或 代词 ， 叫 做 介 词 的 宾 语 ， 如 He went away with no words中 的no words.作 宾 语 的

3、有 ： 名 词 、 代 词 、 数 词 、 不 定 式 、 动 名词 和 宾 语 从 句 。4、 表 语 ： 它 是 放 在 连 系 动 词 之 后 表 示 主 语 的 身 份 或 特 征 的 ， 如 That sounds a good idea中 的 a good idea.作 表 语 的 有 ：名 词 、 代 词 、 数 词 、 形 容 词 、 介 词 短 语 、 表 地 点 或 方 位 的副 词 、 不 定 式 、 动 名 词 、 分 词 和 表 语 从 句 。5、 定 语 ： 它 是 限 定 名 词 或 代 词 用 的 ， 作 定 语 的 有 ： 名 词 、形 容 词 、 数 词 、

4、 介 词 短 语 、 不 定 式 、 分 词 、 动 名 词 和 定 语从 句 ， 若 是 词 则 多 作 前 置 定 语 ， 若 是 短 语 或 定 语 从 句 则 只能 作 后 置 定 语 。 如 the polluted river中 的 polluted和 the river polluted by chemicals中 的 polluted by chemicals.6、 状 语 ： 它 是 修 饰 动 词 、 形 容 词 、 副 词 或 全 句 用 的 。 如 I like it very much中 的 very 修 饰 much,而 much 又 修 饰 like。作 状 语

5、的 有 ： 副 词 （ 短 语 ） 、 介 词 短 语 、 不 定 式 、 分 词（ 短 语 ） 、 名 词 短 语 和 状 语 从 句 。 状 语 说 明 时 间 、 地 点 、原 因 、 目 的 、 结 果 、 条 件 、 让 步 、 程 度 、 方 式 、 伴 随 情 况等 。 其 位 置 多 位 于 句 首 或 句 尾 ， 但 表 频 率 或 程 度 的 副 词 应位 于 句 中 be动 词 、 情 态 动 词 和 助 动 词 之 后 ， 实 义 动 词 之 前 。 地 点 和 时 间 应 按 先 小 后 大 的 顺 序 。 7、 补 足 语 ： 补 充 说 明 句 中 的 主 语 或

6、 者 宾 语 的 ， 作 补 足 语的 有 ： 名 词 、 形 容 词 、 介 词 短 语 、 不 定 式 和 分 词 （ 短 语 ） 。如 I find it interesting中 的 interesting.8、 同 位 语 ： 把 一 个 名 词 （ 短 语 ） 、 代 词 或 从 句 放 在 另 一名 词 或 代 词 后 ， 用 以 说 明 前 者 的 性 质 或 情 况 ， 这 样 的 名 词或 代 词 叫 同 位 语 。 如 We Chinese people love peace中 的Chinese people是 主 语 We的 同 位 语 .二 、 按 照 句 子 的 结

7、 构 来 分 ， 英 语 的 句 子 有 以 下 三 种 类 型 ：1、 简 单 句 ： 简 单 句 只 有 一 个 主 语 （ 或 并 列 主 语 ） 和 一 个谓 语 动 词 （ 或 并 列 谓 语 动 词 ） 。 如 ： My brother and I go to school at half past seven in the morning and come back home at seven in the evening.2、 并 列 句 ： 并 列 句 由 并 列 连 词 或 分 号 “ ； ” 把 两 个 或 两个 以 上 的 简 单 句 连 在 一 起 构 成 。 如 ：

8、 It is late , so we must hurry. 3、 复 合 句 ： 复 合 句 中 含 有 一 个 或 一 个 以 上 的 从 句 。 如 ：If we want to keep fit , we must always remember that prevention is better than cure. 从 以 上 并 列 句 和 复 合 句 的 例 句 来 看 ， 我 们 不 难 看 出 它 们实 际 上 是 由 几 个 简 单 句 通 过 并 列 连 词 或 从 属 连 词 连 接 起 来的 。 因 此 ， 只 要 我 们 掌 握 了 简 单 句 的 几 种 基

9、本 句 型 ， 我 们就 可 以 通 过 在 句 中 寻 找 起 连 接 作 用 的 连 词 来 分 析 复 杂 的 句子 。三 、 简 单 句 的 五 种 基 本 句 型 ： 1、 主 语 +连 系 动 词 +表 语 如 ：Im not feeling well today.Our country is becoming stronger and stronger. 连 系 动 词 有 ： be,seem,appear,keep,prove,turn out/look,feel,sound,smell,taste/become,grow,get,turn,go,come(true),fall

10、(ill,asleep) 2、 主 语 +不 及 物 动 词 （ 或 短 语 ） （ +状 语 ） 如 ：The sun rises in the east.The Opium War broke out in 1839.3、 主 语 +及 物 动 词 （ 或 短 语 ） +宾 语 如 ：They decided to hold a class meeting.We depend on our parents for food and clothing. 在 此 句 型 中 ， 我 们 要 掌 握 接 动 词 不 定 式 作 宾 语 和 接 动 名词 作 宾 语 的 动 词 。4、 主 语 +

11、及 物 动 词 +间 接 宾 语 +直 接 宾 语 如 ：My father bought me an electronic dictionary.Mr Wang teaches us chemistry. 用 于 此 句 型 的 动 词 有 buy,find,bring,give,teach,pass,show,tell,do,leave,get,lend,lose（ 使 失 去 ） ,cost(使 付 出 代价 ） ,offer,promise,sing,write,deny,envy.5、 主 语 +及 物 动 词 +宾 语 +宾 语 补 足 语 如 ： Marx made London

The boy made his sister cry.Our teacher encouraged us to work hard.Our headteacher required us not to be late for class.1)、 接 名 词 作 补 足 语 的 动 词 有 ： call,choose,think,consider,believe,find,make,etc.2)、 接 动 词 不 定 式 作 补 足 语 的 动 词 有 ： see,watch,notice,let,have,hear,

13、make;ask,tell,order,require,want,advise,persuade,cause,encourage,permit(allow),forbid,teach.不 能 用 于 此 结 构的 动 词 有 ： suggest,demand,hope,agree.3)、 接 形 容 词 作 补 足 语 的 动 词 有 ： think,believe,find,feel,consider,keep,leave,make,get,paint,wish,drive. 以 上 五 种 基 本 句 型 中 的 主 语 、 宾 语 、 表 语 都 可 扩 展 成 相应 的 从 句 ， 从

14、 而 成 为 复 合 句 。 同 时 ， 复 合 句 中 的 主 、 从 句也 是 由 以 上 五 种 基 本 句 型 组 成 的 。 如 ： What he says doesnt agree with what he does. Why he came late is that his bike broke down on the way.It occurred to me that I had much homework to do.He promised me that he would attend the lecture.What has made the city what it

15、 is now? 另 外 ， 句 子 采 用 哪 一 句 型 ， 完 全 取 决 于 谓 语 动 词 的 用 法 .因 此 ， 动 词 的 用 法 是 我 们 平 时 复 习 的 重 点 。 如 ：1).最 近 几 年 我 们 家 乡 发 生 了 巨 大 变 化 。 In the last few years,great changes have taken place in our hometown.2).昨 晚 在 十 字 路 口 发 生 了 一 起 严 重 的 交 通 事 故 。 A serious traffic accident happened/occurred/came abou

16、t atthe crossing yesterday evening. 3).我 突 然 想 到 一 个 绝 妙 的 主 意 。 An excellent idea occurred to me.4).这 家 餐 馆 昨 晚 发 生 了 一 场 火 灾 。 A fire broke out in the restaurant last night.4).听 到 这 个 激 动 人 心 的 消 息 ， 她 脸 上 露 出 了 笑 容 。 After she heard this exciting news,a smile appeared on her face.5).欢 迎 你 们 参 观 我

17、 们 学 校 ！ Welcome to visit our school!/Welcome to our school!6).一 场 暴 风 雨 过 后 ， 苹 果 树 上 只 剩 几 个 苹 果 。 After a rainstorm,only a few apples remained on the trees. 除 了 以 上 不 符 合 汉 语 习 惯 顺 序 的 词 之 外 ， 其 它 情 况 下 英语 陈 述 句 的 句 序 和 汉 语 的 顺 序 是 吻 合 的 。 我 们 可 将 英 语 陈述 句 的 句 序 归 纳 如 下 ：主 谓 （ 宾 ） /主 系 表 一 条 线 ，
