5、e up doing sth.放弃做某事。 eg: we must do/try our best to do our work. eg:my uncle has given up drinking9、such与so. such修饰名词。so修饰形容词和副词。(1)修饰单数可数名词时,so与such互换。such+a/an+adj+n=so+adj+a/an+n (2)当名词前有many ,much .few .litlle 等时,用so,不用much.10、Catch / keep up with .赶上. 反义词组为fall behindeg:I must work hard to cat

8、和间接引语1.直接引语是陈述句变成用that引导的宾语从句。句中时态、人称、时间状语等要相应变化。(1) 时态变化:向前推一个时态。直接引语间接引语一般现在时一般过去时现在进行时过去进行时现在完成时过去完成时一般过去式过去完成时一般将来时过去将来时注意:如果直接引语表达的是客观真理,变为间接引语时,时态不变(2) 时间状语变化直接引语间接引语herethere时间状语nowthentodaythat daytonightthat nightlast nightthe night beforeyesterdaythe day beforelast weekthe week beforethree

9、 days agothree days beforetomorrowthe next daynext weekthe next weekagobefore动词come bringgo take指示代词this thesethat those2.直接引语是疑问句 (1)把一般疑问句变为间接引语时,要用连词if或whether引导。主句中的谓语动词为said时,要改为asked,语序用陈述句的语序。Uncle Tom asked, “Will you be free this afternoon?” Uncle Tom asked me if I would be free that aftern

10、oon.(2)引述特殊疑问句时,仍用原来的疑问词引导,语序用陈述句语序。 2.The teacher asked them,“which book do you like best? ”. The teacher asked them which book they liked best(3)引述选择疑问句时,变成whether引导的宾语从句。 He asked me, “do you want a pen or a bullpen?” He asked me _. 3.直接引语是祈使句.根据说话人语气变成ask/tell/order sb.
