43、)12. Talk about the working principle of oily water separator according to the picture given. When the oil drops becomes large enou

44、gh, the lower density oil drops floats up and collects at the top of the vessel. The water remains at the lower portion and is pumped overboard. The oil layer is pumped into an oily bilge tank, which can be pumped out at an oil collecting facility when the ship arrives at a port. 油水分离器的工作原理,结合小油滴(聚结

46、wnwards to the conical plates. Large globules of oil separate out in the upper part of the separator while the smaller globules are carried by the water into the space between the plates. The rising velocity of the globules are carried them upwards where they become trapped by the under surfaces of
