When there is a big festival in China, the family members always get together to celebrate. Then whats the festival in

6、 October in China? What festival do you know except Mid-Autumn Festival? Help the students to respond in an appropriate way. Step2. Remind the students that in the previous book Li Ming and his family celebrated the Chinese New Year in China and Jenny and her family celebrated Christmas in Canada. S

16、me exercise that you think it important of homework.教学反思：本节课通过讲述中秋节和感恩节的庆祝活动，激发学生的学习兴趣和好奇心，引导学生主动地获取知识。所有的教学环节都紧紧围绕着教学目标贯穿整个教学过程。本节课的教学设计，充分突出了以学生为主体的教学思想，从学生的实际情况出发，巧妙设计。第一封电子邮件学习中国的中秋节知识，重点短语如：watch the moon, look for change,以及when引导的时间状语从句，利用练习法让学生反复诵读，理解。第二封电子邮件则是加拿大秋天的节日，感恩节。理解感恩节的日期，也向学生讲述感恩节的庆祝内容。课文中重点知识是名词所有格，如my grandparents home。教学中教师持续给学生明确任务,通过课上的反复诵读，知识讲解和设计精美、清晰的课件，向学生们体现知识。学生们在快乐的学习中习得了知识，很好地完成了本次教学。
