1、Module 12 Summer in LAModule 12 Summer in LA一、教材内容分析一、教材内容分析本模块以描述夏季课程为话题,把重点放在对课程活动的介绍上。要求学生通过学习掌握英语学习的方法,提高英语学习能力,了解中国与英国/美国在日常生活中的传统差异;这一话题贴近学生的生活,学生对新颖和与自己日常生活不一样的东西非常感兴趣。教学中应结合学生的实际情况,合理设置课时,适当进行拓展,以丰富学生知识;拓展学生视野,教会学生尊重文化差异,积极探究英、美国家传统生活的特点,提高学生实际运用能力。二学情分析二学情分析对于九年级的学生来说,部分学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础,掌握了一

2、点英、美国家日常生活中的不同传统特点,但总体上来说,还比较少。夏季课程安排与学生的生活紧密相连,也是他们很感兴趣的话题,如有机会,他们也很想出国亲身体验一些英国/美国与中国不同的旅游胜地、风土人情和传统生活。基于现实生活,只能引导学生在课堂上发挥丰富的想象力,把课堂模拟成生活,置身于英语学习中,提高语言交际能力。但大部分学生对于西方国家的旅游胜地、风土人情和传统生活所知甚少,因而词汇量和信息量可能会偏大,加之学生英语成绩的分化比较严重,所以要求学生能课前认真做好预习,借助网络和书籍,了解中英/美传统生活的特点和差异,培养自学能力;教师在预设的任务中,注意引导学生在交际中动态生成,学生有话可说,

3、乐于合作分享。这样就有利于他们更好的运用课本知识,达到提高综合运用语言能力的目的。三教学目标三教学目标1 1、语言技能目标、语言技能目标听:听:能通过简单记录的方式抓住听力材料中的细节信息;能听懂对夏季课程介绍的陈述,提高学生实际运用能力。说:说:能正确说出课程活动安排;能够结合图片、多媒体等手段,谈论夏季课程计划,介绍中西方国家传统生活的一些特点和差异。读:读:能读懂介绍洛杉矶夏季英语课程安排的文章;能抓住文章的主题和细节信息。进行简单的阅读技能训练。写:写:能根据自己的情况写出夏季课程安排的计划。表达与演示:能向同学介绍你的夏季课程计划。2 2、语言知识目标、语言知识目标功能:功能:围绕中
