3、chanical design&manufacturing and the application ability.Thegraduates are able to engage in the design and manufacture in the field of machinerymanufacturing,technology development,application research,operation managementand sales,etc.At the same time,they are able to solve complex technical probl
4、ems inthe field of modern engineering with the advanced design and manufacturing theoryand method,in order to realize intelligent design and manufacturing.Through learning,students can get the basic theory and application ability ofmechanical design,manufacturing,automation,and numerical control tec
5、hnology.Itcan provide the senior engineering and technical personnel in mechanical engineeringand automation field which engages in mechanical design,the preparation andenforcement of process technology,the design of process and tooling,NCprogramming science and technology development,application re
6、search and salesmanagement and other aspects of the work.For the Bachelor of Science degree inmechanical design and manufacturing automation,a minimum of 189.5 credit hours isrequired.The credits must include 67.5 credits of general education courses,36credits of discipline required courses,10 credi
7、ts of professional selective course,12credits of general education elective courses,42 hours of experimental practice.The mechanical design and manufacturing automation curriculum contains a requirednumber of hours in humanities and social sciences as specified by the EngineeringAccreditation Commis
8、sion of the Accreditation Board for Engineering andTechnology.Based on the characteristics of mechanics,mechanical engineering,control scienceand engineering as the major core disciplines,we set up 10 specialized corecurriculums,as follows:Mechanical Drawing(,),Engineering Mechanics(,),Mechanical De
