15、ries.He challenged the authority of the Pope and attacked the practice of the sale of indulgences.He believed that people could be saved only by their faith in Jesus Christ and through a direct contact with God.The Religious Reformation,which was capitalistic in nature,had great impact on the modern

17、 in natural and social science.People began to be more confident in themselves and show more interest in the world about them.Many challenged the authority of the Bible and were willing to observe,experiment and test truths for themselves.This attitude pushed the development of technology.文艺复兴的显著特点是
