4、 can you do that?” Mary said to Ann. Mary asked Ann how she could do that. 特殊疑问3Usages: Said that +S + V told sb. Sb. ordered/ advised sb. (not) to do sth if / whether + S +Vasked sb wh- / how+ S+ V4考点:实际上是对宾语从句和动词不定式的考察。A 人称变化:直接引语中第一人称和第二人称在变为间接引语时常做相应变化:一随主,二随宾,三不变。B 从句语序:从句要使用陈述语序:连接词+ S+ VC 时态变

5、化:参见P178,Book One 及附表CD 指示代词,时间状语,地点状语和某些特定动词也要作相应变化(D表)C:时态直接引语原来时态变为间接引语后的时态一般现在时 do一般过去时 did现在进行时 be(is,am,are)doing过去进行时 was/ were doing现在完成时 have/ has done过去完成时 had done现在完成进行时have/has been doing过去完成进行时had been doing一般将来时 will do过去将来时 would do将来进行时 will be doing过去将来进行时 would be doing一般过去时 did过去

8、inggo, take注:下列情况直接引语变成间接引语时态不变:1客观真理、谚语、自然现象或事实 现在时。e.g.:(1) He said, “Light travels much faster than sound.” He said that light travels much faster than sound. (2) Our teacher said to us, “Practice makes perfect.” Our teacher said that practice makes perfect. 2.历史事实,即直接引语中有明确的过去时间做状语,或有when, while

9、引导的时间状语从句, 保持原来的过去时。 e.g.:(1) “I was born in Wuhan in 1996.”Said Mr. Wang. Mr. Wang said that he was born in Wuhan in 1996. (2) He said, “When I was a child, I usually played football after school. He said that when I was a child, he usually played football after school.3.具体事实 (1)主句的谓语动词是一般现在时 时态不变

10、e.g.: “Mike is from America.” Says Tom. Tom says that Mike is from America. (2) 主句的谓语动词是过去时 相应变化4.直接引语是虚拟语气时 时态不变。e.g.: “It is time that we began our class.” Said the teacher. (is 是陈述,began是虚拟语气) The teacher said that it was time that we began our class.5.有时为了联贯,需在引语间补充一定的话。e.g.: “Im going home, whe

11、re are you going?” Said Tom. Tom said that he was going home and wanted to know where I was going.6. 如果在当地转述,here不必改为there, 动词come不必改为go, bring不必改为take。如果在当天转述yesterday, tomorrow, this afternoon等时间状语也不必改变。e.g.: Teacher: You may bring your favorite food here this afternoon. Student: What did the teacher say, Monitor?Monitor: He said we might bring our favorite food here this afternoon.3
