2、umn of “approved by ” must be R&D department manager signature.The factor that can affect the life of aluminum electrolytic capacitor will be the ambient temperature, the ripple current on capacitor and the actual voltage on capacitor.Because the ESR of aluminum electrolytic capacitor is larger than

3、 that of other type capacitor, heat will occur on capacitor during charging with ripple current. In order to guarantee the life of capacitor, the maximum ripple current will be regulated on each capacitor. Life calculation of capacitor during charging ripple current:1. 12、ure, inserting the thermocouple inside the operating capacitor and secondary , the ambient temperature . A more convenient way to get the Tx is to convert the surface temperature of the capacitor case and the ambient temperature by a coefficient specified for each case diameter as follows:Tx=Kc . (T

14、 there is no ventilation, to simplyestimate the Tx from the actual rms ripple current, use the following equation:Tx = T0 X (actual rms ripple) / ( rated rms ripple) 2The actual and rated maximum rms ripple current shall be equaled in frequency by using frequency multipliers prescribed for each prod
