In this unit, it is the purpose to master how to express it about transportation correctly in English.II. Analysis of the Ss:The
3、Ss are in Grade seven. They have learnt English for nearly six years. Most of them can say some sentences fluently. At this age, they are lovely ,active and creative. However, not all of them can speak English freely and sequentially.III. Teaching Aims:1. Review the words and phrases.2. Grasp the ma
4、in sentences:1) It is 15 kilometers from your home to school.2) I get to school by e-bike.3) I take the bus to get to school.3. Practice writing again.4. Learn from this unit: No rule , no standards.IV. Teaching Focuses and Difficulties:1. Review the words and sentences of this unit.2. Practice writ

Self-learning strategyNowadays, it is important for Ss to know how to cooperate with each other. And it is essential for them to solve prob
6、lem by themselves.VI. Teaching Aids: PPT. Teaching Procedures:Step1: Lead in Check the homework of last class and show some wrong sentences from their passages. Ask the Ss to check them.Step2: Presentation If you want to write a wonderful passage, you must pay attention to the three parts: words, ph
7、rases and sentences.Step3: Challenge 1 Let Ss look at some pictures and name them in English. This can help them review the words of this unit. Then give them a game: Listen and Guess. This helps Ss learn some new types of transportation: high speed rail, motorbike and e-bike.Step4: Challenge 2Ask S
8、s to review the phrases about transportation, such as by train, by subway(underground),by plane(air).Next ask them to talk about other ways to describe the transportation.Step 5: Challenge 3 Let Ss review some sentences that they make mistakes easily, for example: It takes sb. some time to do sth.It

10、nd so on.Step 7 Writing Let Ss look at 3b again and give them an instruction about it. Ask them to write it again in five minutes. Then change the passages with each other and check them. After class, let them hand them in.Step8: Sublimation We reviewed the focuses in Unit 3,they are related to the transportation.
