1、Unit 3 Travel journal本校为福建省一级达标学校,生源素质较好。上课学生为高一年普通班学生,具备一定的词汇量和较好的英语素质,学习主动性和学习热情都较高。本节课教材为人教版必修一第三单元Unit 3 Travel journal,课型为阅读课。本单元的中心话题是旅游,通过旅游日记的方法描述旅游见闻。本节课学习“湄公河旅行游记” 第一部分The Dream and plan,文中讲述了王坤和王薇梦想沿湄公河做自行车旅行,并为之做准备的过程。文章分了三段,第一段讲了王坤和王薇的梦想及买好自行车,邀请表弟参加。第二段讲了王薇的决心及要面临的困难。第三段讲了他们去图书馆查阅的相关资料

2、。通过对本文的阅读学习,能让学生学到一些有关地理的单词和短语,训练他们的阅读技巧,还能让他们懂得如何做好旅行前的准备工作。这课时主要侧重于阅读能力的培养,引导学生开展任务型阅读,以任务为依托,激发学生主动参与的积极性,让学生学会从篇章中准确、高效地获取知识与信息,并掌握一定的归纳能力和分析能力。1教学重点(1) 理解本单元阅读文章,培养阅读技巧。(2)了解旅游所需的准备工作,其中包括精神与物质准备。选择旅游时间、景点、路线、交通工具(火车、汽车、轮船、飞机、自行车等)。(3)掌握旅游常识,学会解决旅游中出现的一些问题。2教学难点(1) 真正理解阅读文章。(2)能正确表达自己所做之事、所到之处以

3、及自己的感受。(3)学会谈论旅游,描绘一次具体的旅行等。.教学内容分析 教学内容分析 旅游熏陶人的情操,增长人的见识;旅游锤炼人的意志,开拓人的智慧;对山川的爱恋还激发人们对祖国的爱,对生活的爱。本单元的中心话题是旅游,通过旅游日记的方法描述旅游见闻。热身(Warming up)部分有二个问题组成,第一个问题让学生自己喜欢的交通工具。要求他们对四种交通方式的利和弊进行探讨。第二个问题中给出六个日常交际用语,让学生结合这些句子练习关于旅游的表达方式,从而达到热身的目的。读前(Pre-reading)部分的问题都是关于河流的,涉及了河流的用处以及选择一条河流旅游的原因。主要是引导学生向阅读部分过渡

4、。阅读(Reading)部分:本单元“湄公河旅行游记”一共有六部分构成。第一部分The Dreamand plan在Reading中讲述了王坤和王薇梦想沿湄公河做自行车旅行,并为之做准备的过程。文章分了三段,第一段讲了王坤和王薇的梦想及买好自行车,邀请表弟参加。第二段讲了王薇的决心及要面临的困难。第三段讲了他们去图书馆查阅的相关资料。理解(Comprehending)部分通过一些练习和问题,让学生对课文内容有了初步理解。语言学习(Learning about language)部分通过在句子中填写课文中的单词和短语,完成短文填空的练习讲述了主要词汇及其运用和主要语法项目(用现在进行时表示将来)

5、。语言运用(Using Language)部分含四个方面综合训练部分。Reading and discussing 是“湄公河旅行游记”的第二部分A Night in the Mountains,主要讲述了他们在西藏山中度过的一宿,爬山路的艰苦及乐趣。Listening and speaking 围绕中心话题,讲述王坤和王薇在去大理与表兄弟会面的路上与一个老挝女孩的对话Chatting with a girl这是“湄公河旅行游记”的第三部分。Writing要求学生围绕话题写一封email。练习册Listening是Our journey through Laos, 这是“湄公河旅行游记”的第四

6、部分, Listening task 是By the river in Laos, 这是“湄公河旅行游记”的第五部分, Reading task是The end of our journey这是“湄公河旅行游记”的第六部分。 小结(Summing Up)部分引导学生从本单元的话题,词汇和语法等方面对所学内容进行总结。 学习建议(Learning Tip )部分给学生提出写旅行日志的方法和好处,鼓励学生外出旅行时写旅游日志(travel journal).II. 教学重点和难点1教学重点(1) 本单元的生词和短语。(2) 掌握运用现在进行时表示将来的用法。(3) 了解旅游所需的准备工作,其中包括
