1、教学设计 Unit7 The mountain bike race. Lesson 1 密云四小:张春洋(一)指导思想与理论依据北师大版的小学英语教材和其他版本相比,最大的特点就是第一课时以故事的形式呈现了一个单元的功能句型,因此故事教学是每个单元第一课时的内容,目前整体进行故事教学越来越为广大教师所认可。英语课程标准中倡导教师要引导学生通过体验实践和参与进行语言学习。整体进行故事教学的过程正是教师和学生一起构建故事的过程,在这个过程中,借助故事所创设的情景,教师恰当的提问,学生通过体验和参与的学习方式达到了接触理解语言的目的。(二)教学背景分析北师大版第九册 Unit 7 The mount

2、ain bike race,整个单元呈现的语言现象主要是祈使句和副词的用法。第一课时的故事设计是以Charlie邀请Matt参加社区自行车越野赛为背景,描述他们参加此次比赛的过程。自行车是我国广泛使用的一种交通工具,而故事则是把自行车作为一项竞技体育项目,这在很大的程度上激发了学生的好奇心和求知欲望,想要进一步了解这项运动。在人物对话和旁白陈述中,这几种语言现象随着情节的发展自然出现,对学生理解、记忆、掌握和灵活运用都十分有利。故事大致有三个场景,第一部分讲的是Charlie邀请Matt参加社区自行车越野赛并说明一些注意事项,出现了祈使句的用法;第二部分讲的是Charlie和Matt到了比赛场

3、地赛前的一些情况,继续对祈使句的用法进行介绍;第三部分讲的是自行车越野赛的赛况,不仅有祈使句,还出现了副词的用法,并复现了现在进行时等语言现象。课文的旁白陈述部分通过对故事的描述,复现了一般现在时、现在进行时等时态,同时出现了副词的用法,帮助学生进一步理解故事内容,是连环画部分的补充。(如果时间不够,本部分留到第二课时去处理。)学生情况:经过五年多的英语学习,绝大多数学生已经具备了一定自主学习与举一反三的能力,但两极分化的现象还是存在。国内自行车运动和国外有所不同,需要向学生进行文化意识的渗透。(三)教学目标1 知识与技能:1)能够通过观察图片、阅读文字查找相关信息,正确回答关于故事大意的问题

4、。 2)通过图片及课件了解form,track,post等单词的意思,能够正确认读以下单词:ankle, competitor, crash, cycling shoes, elbow, entry, fill out, flat, form, helmet, invite, mail, number, pad, post, puddle, rider, sign, skid, slippery, tire, track, 3) 能够在情境中理解下列单词:puddle, skid, crash into, ankle, hurts, take sb. to the hospital4)能认读以

5、下句子: You must be more than 10 years old. You must have a good mountain bike. You must mail the entry form before Wednesday. You must check your bikes. 2 过程与方法:通过学习故事,了解国自行车越野赛运动的文化。通过故事学习了解运动规则的表达方式。运用整体故事教学的方法,通过教师的提问、引导和学生的阅读、观察、描述,一同构建故事的方式,达到接触、体验、理解语言的目的。3情感态度价值观:通过本单元的故事内容,了解自行车越野赛这项运动及其注意事项,通

6、过了解运动中的规则,培养学生的安全意识,学会在运动中保护自己。(四)学习策略:让学生通过仔细观察图片、文字,认真归纳等方法,加深对布告、警示语和故事内容的理解。(五)教学重点:1)通过问题,引导学生阅读,理解文章故事大意。2)通过多种形式进行单词和句子的理解和认读,帮助学生初步读出故事。(六)教学难点:1)引导学生通过自主阅读,回答问题。2)正确认读单词和故事。 (七)教学准备:教师:卡片、PPT、多媒体课件学生:学生用书 (八)板书设计:Unit 7 The mountain bike race.Rules:You must be more than 10 years old.You mus

10、果学生提到“规则”,老师就板书上“rules”,带读2遍。1) 回答问题。Its a bike.Yes or No.观看视频。Yes or No.读课题1遍。2)大胆提问。如:When is the race?Who are in the race?Where is the race?等。复习与新课有关的内容,调动学生的学习热情。为理解故事做铺垫。思考并提问,以便带着问题去分析理解故事。PPT3分钟2故事教学1)整体感知故事梗概:完整播放课件一遍,引导学生回答以上问题。预设1:根据实际情况来调整回答问题,能回答出来的就回答了,不能当时回答的,可以留到讲故事环节,自然地解决这些问题。预设2:可以

11、灵活地利用课件中的图片,让学生边看边解决问题。完整看一遍课件,回答问题。思考并解决问题,以便整体感知故事,调动学生的主动思维,为进一步分析理解故事大好基础。PPT课件 22分钟2)利用课件与书中图,以问引读,理解故事细节。图1 不出文字,提问引读。T: Who can you see? Where are they? What are they doing? But Matt hurt his ankle, because a puddle. .3内化练习1)复习读单词,利用单词条和单词卡片,带读2遍。教师出示单词,学生读,检查学生的朗读情况。2)跟读故事,从头到尾逐句播放课件,带着

27、学生跟读一遍。难读的地方,教师示范,再练习读一读。3)整体讨论参加自行车越野赛的规则。T: What are the rules for the mountain bike race?随着学生的回答,教师在黑板上贴上句子。4)引导讨论:T: When we talk about rules, we usually use “must”.So many rules, which is important? Why? They are very important for the competitors. So the competitors should obey the rules.1)跟课件
