1、初三名词复习练习题复习名词的用法：一、名词可分为两大类： 1) 普通名词 2) 专有名词名词又可分为：1) 可数名词 (countable noun) / nc，它有单、复数之分。2) 不可数名词 (uncountable noun) / nu，它一般不分单数和复数。二、名词的数：可数名词有单数和复数两种形式。主要变法如下：（1）一般情况在词尾加-s，如：bookbooks，girlgirls，boyboys（2） 以s，x，ch，sh，结尾的词加-es，如：boxboxes，classclasses，（3）以辅音字母+y结尾的词变 “y” 为 “i” 再加-es, 如：citycities,

2、 factoryfactories,（4）以o结尾的词，一般说来有生命的词加-es，无生命的加-s，如： hero tomato potato Negro piano zoo radio （5）以f或fe结尾的词，多数变“f”为“v”再加-es，如：knifeknives，leafleaves, halfhalves（6）不规则的复数形式，如：manmen，womanwomen，toothteeth，footfeet，childchildren，mousemice【注意】1) 与man和woman构成的合成词，其复数形式也是-men和-women。例如：an Englishmantwo Eng

3、lishmen。但GermanGermans；2) man workermen workers, woman teacher women teachers 3) 有些名词单复数一样，例如：Chinese，Japanese，sheep，deer，fish等。但当fish表示不同种类的鱼时，可以加-es口诀； 男人女人a变e，孩子后加ren； 中国人和日本人，棉羊鹿鱼形不变；脚和牙齿还有鹅，就把oo变ee； mouse、mice是老鼠，公牛ox加en；人们警察牵小牛，单数形式复数意； 男医生和女医生，man和doctor都变身。练习题 一) 可数名词的复数规则变化 1. map_ car_ 2.

5、语，如： a piece of paper / bread a bottle of orange， a glass of milk threebagsofrice不可数名词一般没有复数形式, 说明其数量时, 要用有关计量名词。如：five cups of tea, three bowls of rice, 可用piece, glass, cup, bottle, bowl, loaf (条), bar (块), tin (听，罐), basket, bag, box, kilo, pound来表达“量”。如： a loaf of bread 一条面包 a bar of soap 一块肥皂 a

6、tin of tobacco 一听/罐烟丝注意以下几点：不可数名词没有复数形式，也不能用不定冠词a,an及数词修饰。但可用some, any, much，alotof，alittle等直接修饰。如：somemeat, somebread,不可数名词前通常用量词来表示具体的数。如：aglassofwater,twocupsoftea,fivepiecesofbread。量词需要用复数形式。不可数名词作主语时，谓语动词用单数形式。如： Theseissomewaterinthebottle.瓶里有些水。 Isthereanyriceinthebag?袋子里有米吗？若不可数名词前有复数数量词修饰时，

7、谓语动词用复数形式。如： Therearethreebottlesof orangeonthetable.桌上有三瓶桔汁。 试比较：Thereissomeorangeonthetable.对不可数名词前的修饰语提问，疑问词用howmuch。如： Theywanttwocupsof tea.Howmuchteadotheywant? Thereissomemilkintheglass.Howmuchmilkisthereistheglass? 对不可数名词前量词部分的修饰语提问题，疑问词用howmany。如： Theywanttwocupsoftea.Howmanycupsofteadothey

8、want?不可数名词表示特指时可用定冠词the修饰。如： ThebreadonthetableisLiLeis.桌上的面包是李磊的。有些名词即可作可数名词，也可作不可数名词，但意思却大不相同。如：glass作可数名词，意思是“玻璃杯”，作为不可数名词，意思是“玻璃”；room作可数名词，意思是“房间”，作不可数名词，意思是“空间”。名词所有格 一、s所有格的用法1. 表示有生命的东西的名词末尾加s。如：Jimsbedthemanswife childrenstoys2. 以-es或-s结尾的名词末尾及名词的复数加。如： thestudentsbooksTeachersDay mybossoff

9、ice3. 有些表示时间、距离、度量衡、价值、自然现象、国家、城镇等无生命东西的名词，也可以加s构成所有格。如：todaysnewspaperfiveminutes walk= five minutes walkthemoonsrays(月光)数词+名词，这个名词通常用单数，中间用连字符。如：five-minute rest, an 11-year-old boy4. And 连接的两个词语，表示两者共同拥有的人或物（共有）时，只需要后一个名词加s（或）即可。如果表示两者各自的所属关系（各自所有），则每个名词词尾都加上s（或）。如：JoanandJanesroom（共同所有）JoansandJ

10、anesroom （各自所有）5. s所有格所修饰的词的省略现象（1）表示诊所、店铺或某人的家等地点名词，其名词所有格后的被修饰语常常省略。如： Imetheratthedoctors (office). 在诊所 Hehasgonetothetailors (shop). 服装店 （2）名词所有格所修饰的词，如果前面已经提到过，往往可以省略，以免重复。如：Thebikeisnotmine, butWangPings. 这辆自行车不是我的，是王平的。二、of所有格的用法 由of加名词构成，其用法归纳如下：1. of所有格一般用于无生命的东西的名词中。如：amapoftheworldthestor

11、yofahero thetitleofthefilm2. 表示有生命的东西的名词，有时也可以用of所有格。如： thechildrenofthefamily 那家的孩子们3. 修饰词较多时也可用of 所有格。如：theverylongandgracefultailoftheblackcat 黑猫的又长又美的尾巴 某些of所有格和s所有格可以互换。 thesonofapoorfarmer apoorfarmersson 一个贫农的儿子 但有时含义却不相同，请比较下面的例子：anoldwomansstory （一个老妇人讲自己的身世） thestoryofanoldwoman （别人讲一个老妇人的

12、身世）三、双重所有格及其用法 s所有格和of所有格两种所有格形式结合在一起，构成of所有格形式，即双重的所有格。它通常表示部分观念，即全体中的一部分，在意义上与oneof相似，它主要修饰of短语之前的那个名词。此外，双重所有格与指示代词连用时，常带有感情色彩，如赞赏、不满、厌恶等。它的主要形式如下：1. 名词of名词性物主代词。例如：agoodfriendofmine我的一个好朋友 aninterestingstoryofhis他的有趣的经历2. 名词ofs所有格。例如：Heisafriendofmysisters.（oneofmysistersfriends）他是我姐姐的一个朋友。 试比较：
