1、Teaching plan of Unit 6 Reading Head To Head广州市第五中学 赵穗兰一、 教材分析:本单元以“宠物”为话题,以饲养宠物为主线。其中Reading板块中阅读两名少年对于饲养宠物犬这一话题阐述的不同观点,了解议论文的一般结构和写作方法,学习个人观点的表达。二、 学情分析:1. 初二(4)班是电脑派位班,学生水平参差不齐。通过以往的学习,他们已经初步掌握了阅读的技能,这节课主要是巩固阅读的微技能(略读、寻读和猜词词义)。2. 学生对“宠物”这个话题比较感兴趣,容易唤起他们求知的欲望,让学生主动地参与到课堂活动中来,大胆地表达自己的观点。三、教学目标:1. 认

2、知目标:(1) 理解目标词汇的含义: reason, cute, responsibility, feed, faithfully*, sofa, noisy, nearly, stranger, common, choice, according to, care for, whats more, have no choice but to do sth., run free(2) 理解文章的主要内容,了解文章的大致结构。2. 能力目标:(1) 在阅读过程中巩固、运用学生的阅读微技能(略读、寻读、猜测词义和分析篇章结构)。(2) 帮助学生建立初步的语篇结构意识。(3) 培养学生探究学习、合作

3、学习和自主学习的能力。3. 情感目标:正确看待饲养宠物的现象,并能就此现象发表自己的观点。四、教学重点:1. 引导学生阅读理解文章,巩固阅读的微技能。2. 引导学生理解目标词汇的含义。五、教学难点:1. 通过找段落中心句,了解文章大致结构。2. 运用所学的词汇和句型就是否饲养宠物阐述个人观点。六、教学方法:Task-based Methodology, Communicative Approach, Total Situational Action method & Cooperative Learning七、教学流程图:Step 1: Lead-inBrainstormingStep 2:
