2、 budgie2. The pronunciations of hamster, budgie3. Ss can know the written words of the target words. Teaching Aids: Pictures of pets; Word cards of them; A tape recorder; Teaching Process:Step 1: Warming up. 1. Greetings:T: Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls. How are you today?2. Review the se

3、ntence pattern: How many s have you got? (Ask and answer between Ss and T.)Step 2: Presentation 1. Lead in: A guessing game.T mimes all kinds of the sounds or actions of animals and Ss guess what it is.Soundsdog, frog, cat, mouseActions-fish, rabbit, hamster, budgie (When Ss say the right answer, T

4、shows the picture and stick it on the Bb. Read and spell the words one by one.)2. Drill: (1) Show the pictures with a cover on it. Open the window of the cover, we just can see one part of the picture and Ss guess what it is.(2) T shows the word cards and Ss mimes the corresponding actins or the sou

5、nds.(3) Practise in pairs.Step 3: Practice1. Open the books to P32, Part 2: Listen and find out the wizards pet. 2. Check the answers by asking Whats the wizards pet? (frog)3. Copy the written words beside the pictures on their books.Step 4: ConsolidationStep 5: Homework 1. Copy the words 4 times. (

Write the written words of pets and colours.Teaching Aids: A tape recorder; The word cards and pictures of pets; The words of colours.Teaching Process:Step 1: Warming up / Review. 1. Greetings: Good morning / afternoon, boys

8、and girls. How are you today?2. Song the song: The rainbow. (Stick the words of colours on the Bb.) 3. T shows the pictures and written words of pets by flash cards, Ss say it loudly. (When Ss answer is right, give the word cards to the them.)Step 2: Presentation 1. Lead in: Say to the Ss who have t

9、he pictures or word cards.T: Have you got a pet? S: Yes, I have. (Lean to say.)2. Ss learn to say Have you got a pet? and ask T. Then T shows the toys (dog, frog).3. Ask Ss Have you got a pet? What have you got? and learn to say it.Step 3: practice1. Practise in pairs. 2. Listen to the chant and poi

10、nt to the words.3. Listen again and try to say it.4. Say it by boys or girls.5. Draw a face of Julia and stick a picture of black and white cat. T: Julia has got a cat. Its black and white. What about others? 6. Listen and tick on Part 3 and check the answers.7. Complete the sentences on Part 4.Step
