I will cons

13、ider functions in isotropic spaces $Hs(mathbbTd)$ as well as in spaces of dominating mixed smoothness $Hs_rm mix(mathbbTd)$. These approximations are based on $n$ linear informations on the given function, and the error is measured either in the $L_2$-norm or in the sup-norm. The exact approximation

14、 rates as $nto infty$ are well known - but only up to multiplicative factors. Very little is known about these hidden constants. The main emphasis of the talk will be on these constants and their dependence on the dimension $d$. Such results are important in numerical computations.Based on recent wo

As applications, we characterize the multipliers on and the stability of these spaces under the perturbation of Calderon- Zygmund operators.
