It incorporates modularity into the productive workflow. It was designed in collaboration with Atlas Copco and New Boliden aft

2、er a visit to the Renstrm mine in Sweden.BOOMER RC_Mis a concept that aims to improve productivity in mines by proposing solutions to workers needs. Extensive research into the workers conditions inside the Renstrm mine in Sweden (1,300 meters underground) exposed many problems in terms of the perfo

3、rmance of the machines, navigation inside the mine, space in the workshop, and the maintenance of specific parts. For instance, an entire machine has to be stopped in order to fix one part of it. Through the research, a common consequence of the different problems was found: the loss of time.BOOMER

4、RC_Mexplores the idea of modularity. The machine is split into modular parts. This saves space in the workshop by allowing the organisation of the modules into dedicated maintenance areas. It is also easier and cheaper to combine, upgrade, and repair the machine tools (such as drilling, bolting, and

5、 scaling tools). This leads to the possibility of changing the damaged module on site so the machine doesnt have to stop working entirely.The machine can take a compact form during for manoeuvring inside the mine. The main module connects to the different parts, and also facilitates the repositionin

6、g of the cabin during work. This allows for the best visibility in every instance. Through a series of workshops, the cabin was deconstructed, challenged, and reborn, combining rational modular design with innovative materials and leading-edge composite manufacturing processes.The intell

11、igent reconfiguration of space and better integration of multiple cabin systems dramatically increased luggage capacity and cabin living space. While a current A320 overhead bin holds only five bags for every nine passengers, the ISIS bin can hold eight. The larger, more flexible space ensures faste

12、r boarding. The pivoting design also improves headroom and aisle space by rotating luggage up and away from the passenger as the bin is closed.The typically utilitarian passenger service unit (think overhead reading lights, attendant call, and air nozzles) has been re-imagined as a striking light fi

13、xture, housing all passenger interfaces in a sleek and simple package. By localising the passenger functionality into this fixture, headroom is improved everywhere else, making the space feel more personal and larger at the same time. Touch-sensitive surfaces eliminate the traditional clunky lightin

14、g and call buttons. Additionally, full LED mood lighting capability makes for endless branding opportunities.The aircraft manufacturer benefits from mass-production techniques and a modular design that makes installation simple and reduces costs. ISIS also provides revolutionary green features, high

15、lighted by the 100% recyclable ECOform sidewall panels. Finally, the passenger benefits the most: no more rushing to be the first one on board, because that space for their bag will always be there. Whats more, theres a touch-sensing interface that is delightful to use, and a sleek, spacious, and mo

19、 fly fishing by providing a craft that is lightweight, easy to set up, and adaptable. It is able to go almost anywhere the fisherman wishes, allowing enjoyment of the pursuit of fly fishing.Fly fishing is a highly ritualistic sport that is used as an opportunity to escape, to feed the soul, to be in

20、 tune with nature, and to enjoy the challenge it presents. Watercraft are used in fly fishing to give the fisherman a stable platform to cast from, or a way of getting from point to point down a river or across a lake. They make it easier to reach otherwise inaccessible environments and provide diff

21、ering experiences.The Pursuit Watercraft is unique in the fact that it builds upon the strongest reasons most fishermen have for enjoying the sport: escape, spirituality, and challenge.The sense of escape is enhanced by keeping the noise to a minimum through an almost silent operation and the use of

22、 soft materials. Furthermore, a natural aesthetic immerses the fisherman in the environment; flax fibre composite is used in the frame. Additionally, the ability to pack down the craft easily (thanks to the collapsible frame) puts no restriction on where the fisherman can go. A sliding frame seat al

23、so allows leg drive when needed in the rowing stroke, and reduces fatigue on the arms.With no constraint on where to fish, the Pursuit Watercraft touches upon the spirituality of the fisherman there is the possibility of being the first person to discover the perfect spot nestled deep in the wild, s

24、omething that the fisherman can choose to tell their mates about at the end of the day.The self-modification aspect applies to the fishing experience as a whole, and enriches the challenge characteristic. Having a multi-step, but simple, assembly process in a quick first-time set up allows the fishe

25、rman to construct the craft and gain a sense of self-accomplishment.
