3、1987 年考入美国 University of Nebraska Medical Center (内布拉斯加大学医学院) 攻读肿瘤药物治疗学博士学位。毕业后于1991 年至1993 年在美国堪萨斯大学医学中心肿瘤化疗及生物治疗科做博士后研究。1993 年至1997 年在美国哈佛大学医学院 Dana-Farber 肿瘤研究所任高级临床研究员， 负责新抗癌药物的临床试验治疗研究。 自 1997 年至 2000 年任职美国内布拉斯加大学医学院肿瘤科主治医师，副教授， 博士后导师。自2000 年至今在美国 M.D. Anderson 肿瘤医院及研究所任副主任医师、副教授、博士后导师。 本人二十年来一

4、直从事癌症药物治疗及新抗癌药物的临床治疗研究。并与美国及加拿大制药厂合作研制出三种新类型抗癌药物, 其中塔西瓦 (TARCEVA) 已经被美国食品药物管理局批准上市用于治疗肺癌; 另外两种 (C424-Maytansinoid 治疗结肠癌及维力金 治疗胰腺癌) 目前正在美国及加拿大进行临床试验治疗。本人曾在十几次国际癌症会议上发表演讲， 在国内外医学杂志上发表过三十余篇医学论文及译文，并且在国内出版了三本有关癌症防治的专著。本人在癌症治疗方面的成就曾被国内外主要 媒体包括美联社、 美国有线广播网(CNN)、 美国国家广播公司 (NBC)、哥伦比亚广播公司 (CBS)、 中国新华社、人民日报、健
